I am not a Chase customer although my family's businesses use them for payroll for well over a decade. Today i used my debit card (from another institution) and their ATM machines were malfunctioning. Instead of leaving i foolishly kept trying. I took out $500 after several tries but although the receipts show i only got $500, my banl was told i took $$!000. Basically Chase stole $500 from me today, will not return it and said i have to get it from my bank. I am not sure if i need to contact a lawyer, a small claims court in the area or how to get the money back. The manager was really really nice, spent a lot of time on the phone with my bank but my bank was given notification fromm Chase that o got the $500 2 times. Chase, no matter how nice the manager was , essentially stole my money today and i know i will get it back and any costs i incur having to get it back but how disgraceful, that they make a mistake like that and then do not refund my money to me. Lowest of the low ..i guess Chase doesn't have enough assets and need to steal from people i assume thinking i will just let it go..I won't and hope they change their dishonest policies regarding their own malfunctioning equipment.
Worst workers and the manager Lisa is nasty, rude and completely belligerent. There is a reason the bank is always empty. Terrible service. Chase right next door practically is great, nuce people working there also,
Worst customer service ever. Trustco banks in general are not known for customer service (Try getting a human on the phone at the 800 #) But the manager Lisa and the one lone male teller who is always there are obnoxious, rude, unprofessional and perhaps trying to make Trustco look bad. I'm not sure but i used them for 3 years for convience but have moved down the road to another bank with actual service and more than 1 teller and a better reputation.
This is the absolute worst bank in America do not use this bank you will regret it I promise you. This bank gives me so many problems.
