TERRIBLE customer service!!!! Used Marie's medical for years and was nothing but satisfied. Had to switch to Lincare, due to our insurance company changing. I have seriously considered going back to our old insurance company, just to be able to go away from Lincare for CPAP supplies. When you call them to set up service, you either have to leave a message or they tell you they will get the ball rolling and call you back. They don't call back - EVER, nor do they get anything rolling. Every time you call them back, they claim not to have what they need from the doctor's office or wherever. Do they try to get what they need from the doctor's office-NO, they ask you to do it! It's THEIR job, not mine. Claimed to have faxed the forms to the doctor, but he is a personal friend, and he never received them. HE had to get the paperwork and send it to THEM!!! Had he not been a friend, we still would have no CPAP supplies, because most doctors would not have gone to that trouble, nor should they have to. Then, when they get that portion, they claim they still need something else, which they make absolutely NO attempt at trying to obtain. Just basically say "we don't have it, so, oh well, cant help you". It is the BIGGEST run around. They are incompetent, and just don't want to fool with it. For two years we have been having to buy CPAP supplies out of pocket through Amazon, rather than our insurance, due to this companies ineptitude. Furthermore, they generally lack the appropriate knowledge of what the insurance company needs, filing insurance claims, etc. JUST HORRIBLE! They couldn't care less, and I hope they go out of business. I'm surprised they haven't already. I would hate to know if somebody was dependent on oxygen and was having to use this company to get it. They would probably die before they saw any service.
Due to their ineptitude and non response, even to the doctors office, these people cost me $2,000. The do not care at all. Personally , as they are a franchise, I think they are in cash flow problems and are not able to purchase on a timely basis. Very very non responsive.
Zero customer service. Busy signal for hours and endless recordings. No billing efficiency. In August they billed me for 8 months--January thru August. Local office promises to look into situation and call me back. They never have. No customer communication. in December, I informed them that effective Jan, 1 my insurance would change to Blue Cross. Change not made, so on the eight month bill they put insurance canceled and only billed Medicare. Then they sent me a bill saying I owed them. Wrong. This company should be shut down!
This place is wonderful. The people that work there are super nice! They are always so helpful and kind. They let me know about new things that can help me. Once my stationary oxygen tank stopped working after work hours on a Friday. I live over an hour away. They met me half way and exchanged it for a new one. The worker also brought some portable tanks for me, just in case. I would NEVER go anywhere else! Great place, great people!!!
