THIS IS JUST MY EXPERIENCE... find another PM provider. Appointments have been cancelled without notifying me until I showed up at the office 1/2 hour away. The reasoning chose this provider was the location. Well they only have appointments in Bridge Water (5 minutes from my home) on Tuesday's and good luck getting an appointment.I have had to travel to the Moon office a few times and I had to travel to either Wexford or Moon for these crazy injections in my back. These made my blood pressure drop to levels that I have passed out in all occasions and end up sitting at the office for hours after being watched and waiting for my blood pressure to return to normal. I refused these treatments since they did nothing to help me. After speaking to other patients, it appears that the treatment is standardized. Everyone I spoke to must go for the same injections (no matter the different diagnoses), then another set of numbing injections. Personally, my torn annular disk is much different than other diagnosis so I would have appreciated an individualized treatment plan that actually provides results. In the 1 1/2 years I used this provider, I saw the doctor maybe twice including my initial exam. I walk an average of 4 miles per day in excruciating pain and tried to explain my symptoms to the PA who clearly didn't have time to hear me. Their responses to my pain from injuries is to increase pain meds (they increased mine without telling me and we're not happy when I decreased them to the lowest dose possible) and get more injections that clearly haven't worked and cause my body undue stress with the blood pressure. Again, standardized care and no doctor to discuss things and come up with solutions to figure out how to stop the pain, not cover it up with narcotics. The office staff is impatient, rude, and if no assistance. They screwed up my medication so I called and had to leave 4 messages with nursing and the office manager because I was told that they only have 3 nurses answering phone and, I quote Ed from the Wexford Office, "we have hundreds I patients calling each day so you can't talk to a nurse, leave a message and they will call you back". I told Ed that if hundreds of patients are calling a day they could certainly afford to hire a few more nurses. By the way, "hundreds" of their patients are all having problems and need to talk to a nurse? It sounds as if this practice has problems and isn't properly caring for their patients! Well I left a message yesterday morning stating that the my prescription wasn't sent to the pharmacy. I had an appointment the day before and they were aware of the fact that my meds needed sent in the that day. I sit here 23 hours and 27 minutes later waiting for one of the three nurses to call back! I guess seeing them for pain management now means paying them to do absolutely NOTHING! I'm done... Finding a new provider today! All that this place did for me was provide me with a pain medication (that j hate so much that I have decreased myself to the lowest level possible for adults) to mask the pain a bit, several shots that caused my blood pressure to drop each time and provided no relief to me or other patients I've talked to, and make me run all over Beaver, Butler, and Allegheny Counties for appointments. It is quite deceptive to lead people to believe they have an office in Bridge Water, then have these oatients be forced to run around to above mentioned counties. I would have appreciated hearing this at my initial appointment! This place has no problem billing my insurance each month but you can't even get someone to take a call when you clearly screw up on a persons PAIN medication? I'm finding that new doctor today! I'm done$
