Kester's K9 Klips

I am very upset with the services provided by K9 Klips in Moline. I took my dog there and every hair cut for the last year has gone up by $5.00 (20.00-25.00-30.00). I asked if their prices had gone up, and I was told no that my dog is no longer a puppy. I have a 4 1/2 lbs yorkie. I can understand if he actually had grown, but at most he has grown a pound. Then I drop him off at 12:15 and he is not ready to leave until 3:30. After we left K9 Klips we went straight home and started playing with his toys. I noticed that he had a bump on his head and thought it was from him being cut. I looked closer and noticed it was a small tick. My dog has never had ticks before. I pulled that tick off and noticed another two ticks near his ear. I called the owner Ann Kester this morning and shared my concerns about the ticks and she was full of excuses. I explained that I did not no if my dog got them there or not, but I was concerned that their groomer did not see them. One of the ticks was at the top of his head and the other two were near his left ear canal. She stated that they are suppose to clean his ears, so I am not sure how they missed the two ticks near his ear! Ann stated that there was "NOTHING" she could do and that she rents out space at her shop. She is sure my dog did not pick up the ticks at her shop, but later did state that other dogs at her shop yesterday had ticks. I wish she would have told me this before dropping him off. Ann was very unprofessional and didn't appear to take any responsibility for her shop. The groomer may rent the space, but her name Kester is on the door! We will be taking our dog elsewhere in the future.

You can tell that Ann Kester, the owner of this shop, is a dog lover and knows a thing or two about dogs. She was the first groomer to tell me that my dog did not need to be medicated to be groomed. She has been seeing my Bugsy for I guess about 2 yrs now and he always comes home well groomed, with a bow tie, shiny clean coat and strutting his stuff!!!
