Have a problem with our ice machine. They came out after a 3 week wait only to figure out they did not have the part on the truck. Another 2 week wait. Now it’s still not working. Another 2 week wait for my 3rd appt. I feel that if the job isn’t done right they should return right away to fix it. It’s not easy getting this much time off from work to sit and wait for them all day. Overall very disappointed in the service
Bottom freezer in Kenmore refrig stopped working. Scheduling service call was difficult due to available slots. Thermostat had to be ordered and involved another long wait. Then scheduling install was again inconvenient due to available time slots. Part was installed and did not address the problem. Another repair is scheduled. We'll see what happens.
Service repair person was here within 2 hrs of time frame allotted. He was courteous and helpful and had the part needed on his truck. Replaced the part and checked my dryer overall and was finished within 20 mins. I would recommend Sears Repair. I do have Kenmore appliances. I don't know if that makes it easier.
Service order info says the repair has been made, yet it isn't and the service technician ordered a part for the refrigerator but never schedule another time to come out and install it. Now we are starting all over again. Very frustrated!!! Been without a refrigerator for over 3 weeks....
Called in June 16th that my dryer wasn't working. Repair man came out June 25th (soonest appt) needed part ordered. He was super nice. Next available appt was July 6th. Part arrived at my hour June 28th. July 6th repair person arrived refused to come onto my property because I couldn't secure all animals. We live in a rural area on 20 acres. Next available repair person was July 14th. July 14th repair person arrives, same man as initial diagnostic call, couldn't believe I was still without dryer. Installs new part. Dryer won't work. It needs additional part. Calls it in. Tells my story and say this is unacceptable that customer doesn't have a dryer still. A manager from 75 miles away drives part to my home within 4 hours. Repair man returns and completes service. If I knew his name I'd post it. They have a few great guys!! As for the coward that came on the 6th of July, I doubt he will be with them much longer.
I had a Craftsman lawn tractor needing repair. It took one month to get the appointment. I explained on the repair order what was wrong with the machine. The repairman came to my home and diagnosed the problem. The parts needed were very basic: a belt and two pulleys. I expected the repair to be completed at that first service call but he ordered the parts and had them sent to my house. The next appointment, for installation of the parts, took another month. So I was unable to use my machine for two whole months. I HAD EXPECTED THE THING TO BE FIXED AT THE FIRST SERVICE CALL.
I am pleased with the work and with the technician's expertise and demeanor but it should have been repaired much sooner.
I had a serviceman out to do an annual service call on our LG refrigerator/freezer. He was punctual, friendly, courteous and fully explained what he was analyzing for preventative maintenance. The scheduling of an appointment, along with follow-up calls on when the serviceman would be here were additional pluses. I was very impressed and satisfied with Sears!
Called for service about a month ago. Totally frustrating as we have had 4 visits, waiting now for the 4th part to arrive so that my dishwasher can possibly be repaired on visit #5. Had to wait up to 2 weeks between the 4 appointments even though parts arrived as I was told they have staffing issues so they are unable book. Will never again use Sears appliance repair.
We had all our covered appliances checked out. Each technician, with there own unique talents, showed up when they were suppose to, were courteous, professional, pleasant and explained what they were doing as they were doing it, they even asked if we were happy with their work and cleaned up after themselves.
NEVER AGAIN....no diagnostics done to find problem with refrigerator..Doesn't even pull frig from wall... tells me he doesn't know what's wrong.. charges me $95. Entire visit 20 minutes TOPS...
Complete rip off...
Called another repair service who COULD DIAGNOSE AND FIX!!
CALLED SEARS 3 TIMES FOR RESOLUTION...
Essentially told TOO BAD..
It was the first time I need the repair service man came to check the issue with my TV he was very professional (within the schedule they told me he will be here) and in less than 15 minutes he told me what it was the issue (I need a new TV) and then he said they are going to contact you in a week with the steps to follow. I though is going to be a long week with no TV. I was wrong they called me the next day told me what to do I did, and now I have new TV I upgrade it and my kids are very happy.
