Superior service by friendly and helpful staff

I am pleased to say that I have received excellent service at Fun Sport, both before I purchased a bicycle there, and since. That is why I chose to buy my last bicycle there. The staff treats me respectfully, and with competent attention to detail. The few times that my accessories experienced failure, they were replaced immediately, with no questions...once with a superior and more costly model. I like doing business with local businesses and the folks at Fun Sport have treated me well!

Avoid service department/customer service.

I bought a bike 3 weeks ago, over $1k spent. There was a brake problem due to bad rotors, which were replaced. The rear brakes still do not work, they will not lock up. I tell you, that is scary, when you want/need to stop and can't. I have ridden the bike once, due to a faulty fork seal (common on RockShox dart3) which I will say is not the dealers fault. However, I placed an order for a helmet they did not have in stock but usually carry. I was told 3-4 business days. That has not come in yet. I phoned them regarding the forks, and they called a few days later, saying the parts were in and to bring in my bike anytime. I brought it down the next day. I was then told the bike would be ready the next day (today) by 6pm. I went to pick up my bike, and low and behold, not ready. The tech said he did not have a chance to look at it and I would have to come back some time next week. I offered to take the parts home and fix it myself, and the tech went to get the parts, at which time I left the business, leaving my bike behind.

If you do buy a bike there, make sure you can work on it yourself, or know of a better place to have warranty work performed, or do not care when/if you ever get to ride the thing.
