No matter whether an accident involved a freshly licensed teen or an experienced driver, knowing what to do (or not do) is essential to bouncing back.
You will be very happy that you brought your vehicle to M&J for repair! I first met them in March, 2018. I was impressed with their intelligence, work ethic, and enthusiasm for providing the best possible auto repair experience for their customers. I travel to Modesto for business on a monthly basis. I live in Sacramento and have had a trustworthy and skilled auto mechanic in my area. However, that shop closed. I had a recent problem with my 2004 Buick LeSabre overheating into the red zone. After the car cooled down, I could see no obvious reason for the overheating. A friend advised me that the car should not be driven, and that the engine could be damaged. Who could I trust to tell me the truth: was it a simple fix, or was my car seriously damaged? I spoke with M&J on Friday morning, they got me in Monday morning, with a tow from AAA. The good news: it was a simple fix--a damaged hose. But they took extra care to thoroughly check for any damage the overheating could have caused, and there was no serious damage! And they had a special price for an oil change, which included new windshield wipers, rotating the tires, and replacing a tail light bulb! The shop is very clean and organized, the owners are nice, polite, and very knowledgeable, helpful, thorough and fun! Driving home last night was a joy, knowing that I was safe again on the road! Today, I had to be in Modesto on business, and I stopped by the shop to ask if they had time to look at my engine one more time, to be sure there weren't any new signs of more serious damage, after the hour and 1/2 drive from Sacto. They willingly went over the engine again, under the hood, and up on the lift and said it is still good, and no charge. I asked for help with a few minor items for next month. They immediately looked online for the parts, and gave me a quote for parts and labor. A less honest shop could have claimed a blown head gasket, or worse! M&J told the truth, and have earned my business!
We purchased a transmission from them for our Geo Tracker, in November 2016, they took forever to finally get the right one, then on March 2017 they called us to take the Geo in the have the tranny installed, took them weeks to finally install it, two weeks later the tranny started skipping gears so my husband called them, the guy my husband was dealing with told him to give him time to see what he can do, which after time he said too much time passed already! He wouldn’t honor his word, after paying him $1,050.00 for the tranny and labor we had to spend another 1,607.36 to purchase another tranny and labor! Had to have the real professionals “interstate Transmission Center” do the job right! A & R Automotive Service are crooks! I should have known that when they refuse to use debit cards, and want to get paid cash most of the time!
I recently needed to smog a pickup that I bought. I called Bobby and he was able to get me in that afternoon. And as always, I received the professional service that I have grown to know. While Kevin and I did the paperwork, Bobby did the smog on my truck. He also fixed a problem with the shift selector that was preventing full range use of the gears, free of charge. But thats Bobby. Always making sure the customer is taken care of. Thanks Bobby and Kevin.
Went In to get a quote on tires and they gave me a number showed them I had another quote for the same tires and they couldn't match exactly but it was close enough and I don't have to drive to Stockton. I get the tires on Sat so I will report after my install but so far so good .

I have taken my 2008 Toyota Camry to Specialized Automotive since I bought it new. When I needed some major work done on my vehicle they charged me 1/2 the price that the dealership quoted me. They have always provided great service! Very honest and friendly!
I'm very impressed with the quality of service from Auto & Fleet Mechanic. Bob & Mike bent over backwards to accommodate my truck repairs. My head gasket originally needed replaced and so I took it to Auto & Fleet to fix it. On my way home from picking my truck up the "check engine" light popped back on. So, I took it back into Auto & Fleet and they split the diagnostic fee and then promptly fixed the EGR Solinoid & Idle Air Control Valve. After picking my truck up the second time, the check engine light popped back on. So, Bob drove clear across town to pickup my truck and then fixed it for free and drove it back across town for me. Auto & Fleet was very professional and gave accurate timelines and accurate price quotes. I'm very impressed with the quality of customer service even though they had to take a look at my truck three times to completely fix the problem.I highly recommend Auto & Fleet to anyone.
Overall, my experience with this company was pretty rough, but it mostly wasn't their fault. Brought my car in to get some body work done after a wreck, and to make a long story short, the business partner they used (since CTS does mechanical work, not body work) sucked. They didn't even touch my car after 3wks of it sitting in their shop. It ended up taking 9wks to fix my car, when the initial estimate was 3-4wks. I was told CTS no longer does business with this company, due to this issue with my car.In addition to this delay, the communication between myself and CTS was terrible. I constantly had to initiate calls, just to get any updates (most "updates" were just explanations for why my car was delayed again). As it turns out, this was more a reflection of the front desk employee who worked there, at the time, and not a reflection of the business owner. Needless to say, this employee no longer works there.In all, this whole scenario was a nightmare, but it was mostly due to A. A bad business partner, whom CTS no longer works with, and B. An employee who didn't do his job and no longer works with the company. I can't blame them completely for others' failures, but there is some blame to be had, since they are the ones who took on this project in the first place. I docked them 1 star, for this reason.That said, they do an excellent job on vehicles where they are the ones actually doing the work; vehicles with mechanical issues and such. I have had no issues over the years with their quality of work. If that is the issue you are having, you can take your car here with confidence.
I was extremely pleased with the service that Swann's Automotive provided to me. I had used a series of automotive shops before landing here. My GMC came to a point where accelerating past 35 mph caused my entire vehicle to convulse terribly. I took it to two automotive shops that claimed they had gotten to the root of the problem. $700 later and my car still was suffering from the same problem.
