Last August, my mom took my sister and me out to lunch. I was in town from Salt Lake City, Utah, and was visiting my family down south. I fly down to see them only twice a year and each time I'm there, my mom plans a special day for my sister and myself. We'd spent the morning having facials and were having a hard time deciding where to have lunch. One of the ladies at the spa told us about your restaurant and we decided to give it a try. It was totally awesome! I got the shrimp and grits and still can't get it out of my mind. I Must have the recipe. I will be going back for a visit in a few months and can't wait to enjoy the mouth watering dish. It sounds simple, but the complex flavors were incredible. The shrimp were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of bacon and capers. I'm drooling just thinking about it. Altlanta Bread Co. (ABC) is a great place to study because it offers wireless high speed internet access. I rated ABC a three out of five. I rated ABC that because they have low prices, great food, and nice luxury. I did not rate this a five of five because they do not have very friendly employees and sanitary restrooms. To tell you why they do not have friendly service is because once i was with my mother and i went to pick up the food i asked the waitress if i had the correect order, she said to me," Look honey, it is not that hard to look at the reciept and see the number." This to my opinion was VERY rude. They do not have sanitary restrooms because when i was in the restrooms there was not any soap. Okay, we all know that ALL restrooms should have soap in them. This is rediculous!!!!!!!!!
my only prob was the attitude of the young lady serving me.. I slimpley asked for not too much oil and she kinda put a lil to much and I explained to her I was going to eat it later and it may get soggy ...then the attitude comes out she takes off the veggies and puts on fresh this is with an attitude so my prob is chill with the attitude and maybe ill come back I used to come to this location a lot when they had to nice older ladies working ....so lose the attitude you are just a sub shop girl a job is a job be glad u have one many don't this was today at 430 3/16/16 I also work with the public and sometimes I want to show a attitude I just hold it back its called having social manners....cuz with that attitude you have you aren't going to go very far in life
I had a very good Alaska Wild Salmon sandwich with green leaf lettuce, cucumbers and a mild but just right sauce and the organic tomato soup was very good as well although not quite as good or fresh tasting as tomato soup I recently had in a fine dining restaurant (at twice the price). Strangely at a place named Bread Company the bread itself is nice and chewy but with very little flavor.
I recommend this place if you're looking for hot subs. They pack on the meat and have the lettuce shredded like sub shops up North. I have been looking a long time for a place that served steak subs like back home; they''re close but then again when has the South been famous for subs! Also, I like the fact that they serve smoothies.
Excellent food - great family atmosphere. I have two vegetarians in the family & we ate at the Ranch House on Christmas Day. The food was wonderful for everyone's particular diets, and the owner and his family gave special treatment to all who came for Christmas!
By far one of the best sub shops in Mobile. I am usually not one to review, but I wish there were more of them! It's rare that you find a place that always gets your order right and you are "in and out" in less than 5 minutes. Great experience!
This is Mobile's hidden secret. If you know you want a great meal, great wines but don't want Ruth's Chris... again, this is the spot. I love this for special occasions and date night. Not really for a big group, but great for two or four.
GREAT local seafood, fun family atmosphere. You are able to eat inside or dine on the deck overlooking Dog River.
I've eaten there since I was a little kid I still go there to.this day. I actually crave dew drop inns hot dogs!!
