I have called multiple times to report the fact that I do not receive my paper and have also spoken to management. The management/supervisor was extremely rude. I am going on almost 7 months of not getting a paper and the only response i get is that they will extend my service. What service!?! That's my point there is no service! I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism. I will check with my local independent paper to see what is offered. Do yourself a favor....do not use mobile press!!Stephanie Robertsdale AL
Same problem here... I have called and called-- and been put in the endless "que", but never can speak to an actual person to cancel my subscription. VERY frustrating. :-( I have tried emailing, so shall see if that works.
I am having the same problem as Sherry H. in her review. In September 2016 I restarted my subscription for the fall & winter months, as I had paper delivered last winter at a different address, my phone number at Mobile Press was still retaining that address and would not change to my current address, therefore my paper was delivered to the old address. I paid for September and now October has been taken out of my bank account and I have received 2 papers delivered to my door because of a phone call to the carrier, then it evidently went back to being delivered to the old address. I called October 9th to cancel. Now I can't find out if it was cancelled as every time I call I can't get through, nor do I get a call back. I feel I need to be credited for the money taken out. Mobile Press Register has a BIG PROBLEM and someone needs to look into it right away. In the meantime I will still try to call until my problem is resolved.Becky M.
After 30 phone calls since Sept 19, 2016 I have decided to hire an attorney. The Mobile Press Register either puts you on hold or hands up on you. I have spoken with two supervisors which are Travis and Allysia employee #PN20. Other employees that I have spoken with are Jack, Chris, Michael and a girl who emails supervisors about the problem at hand. I was told by Travis that I would receive my paper with no expiration date due to not getting it for many months. After speaking with Allysia just now, I was told she would see if I could get ONE MONTH OF CREDIT. I have told them that I am handicapped and this just continues on. I am hoping that if anyone else has any problems with the Mobile Press Register that they will bring it to light so that no one else is taken advantage of. On September 16, 2016 I tried to get a Mobile Press Register sales person outside the Dollar General to re-set up my home delivery and said the computer kicked it out because I am already set up to receive a paper with no expiration date due to prior problems. This has caused me so much unnecessary stress that it has become unbearable and I feel if I don't do something to stop it, that it will continue not only for me but for others. After counting over 30 phone calls made to the Mobile Press Register and the problem is still not corrected it's time to do something.
Haven't received a paper yet....4 months in. Called twice to cancel....money still coming out of my account.
So Disappointed in "Today's" deliver. Walk out to retrieve my paper. One plastic BAG covering mobile register. End open, pouring rain, bag half full of water. The day after the pre-Championship games. Looking forward to reading the sports. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. It's in the trash recycle bin already. This is not the 1st time, and IF I KEEP my subscription, I'm sure it won't be the last. One quote and my rant is over: "Your company can-not move forward when you're headed in the wrong Direction". Once again no Sunday paper. Lat I onky get half a paper. I am fed up with this am getting ready to cancel. If you are going to have a monoply on a product, then you need to do a good job.
