I received a phone call from someone who said they were working with the Minneapolis Development Center for the blind. What I understoord was that they would send me a 3-month supply of trash bags in exchange for a donation to the center. I received the trash bags and the payment required is $46.76. These bags will probably cost me $10 at the supermarket. The payment needed to be sent to Lifeline Industries Inc in Mobile, AL. There was a note on the bill indicating that Lifeline is a private company but my order is appreciated and that it allows them to work in cooperation wtih and promote pacakges by blind, visually impaired or handicapped individuals. I think I was deliberately misled. I cannot find information on the company that shows how they really work with impaired individuals. If you get a phone call from them, you should think hard about it before agreeing to put in an "order".
