Yellow cab operator was all out rude . didn't know me or anything . if I a had K.& K. Taxi no. Or ubers yellow cab wouldn't have gotten my business tonight .
the whole purpose of a cab company is to transport someone to their destination of choice and do so in a timely manner. This was not done whatsoever by A-1. I am a U.S Marine and in the interest of making sure I would make it to my early morning flights home called ahead the night before to arrange a ride to the airport from my hotel, about a 15 minute drive. The company answered, took my information and was very cordial about it. The next morning I'm waiting outside right when the cab is supposed to be there, with all of my luggage. Five minutes past the time I call to see if I still had a ride. The driver I had arranged with did not answer my 7 phone calls nor my multiple txt messages. I was not rude nor was I irate even though I was going to miss my flight home to see my family. The driver I was attempting to call at one point even hung up the phone on me. So I knew he was aware of my deserate pleas to just get to the Airport and make my flight. He did not care, that even though he made an arrangement with me and is a man doing a job that requires punctuality that I was late.
ALWAYS LATE!!!!!! One time, I waited for my cab at Walmart for over an hour even though the dispatcher said it would only take about 15 minutes. Just recently, My roommate and I had to make an appointment for 6:20. I called for the cab to be there at 5:45. She didn't get there UNTIL 6:20. Don't even bother calling.
transportation service is great and quick and very friendly service ,ask for BIG JOHN he is a good guy and driver !
The taxi driver (Betty) picked me up on time. I was pleased.
I would rate this less than 1 star if possible. I made a reservation to be picked up from my house, and approx. half hr prior, I got a call from a phone number I don't recognize. The caller simply said "hey, how you doin." So I asked "who's this?" Instead of identifying himself, he again simply said "hey, how you doin." So I replied "who's this?" Then the caller got very irate and said "You're prejudice. Go get someone else to take you to the airport." Then he hang up. That's when I realized that it must've been the taxi driver. I immediately called back several times but no one answered. I called the original number that I called to make a reservation, and no one answered there either. Given that there are many taxi service companies in this area, this company will fail to thrive if their drivers are that emotional, not to mention very unprofessional.
This company is terrific! Their driver, Charlie, was absolutely wonderful and came through for us in a time of great need. Thanks also to Jennifer for making things happen! - The Miller Family
I waited on yellow cab for over an hour at the airport! Every time i called they said the driver was on the way. After taking another cab I found out that yellow cab is one of the smallest in town and that they only have 4 day time drivers and 2 at nite but that would have been OK "if they had said we don't have any drivers right now, it will be over an hour" But they lied to me over and over!!!!!
Poor Work Ethics & Attitude
Yellow Cab is the worst taxi company in Mobile. Very unreliable. If they even show up, they'll be very late.
