Hi, my name is Grant Peck. I own the Inca Inn motel and am very proud that we have established our little motel as one of the best places to stay in all of Moab. I'm just repeating what our customers say on Tripadvisor.com. We are presently ranked 5th out of all the places to stay here in Moab.
How is it that the Inca Inn, as a budget motel can be so different than all of the rest? Our Staff! The staff at the Inca Inn really care about what they do. My employees are simply the greatest investment I have and it is because of them that we are viewed so highly by everyone that stays here.
Our motto or business model is very simple: "eliminate problems and exceed expectation". We have comment cards in every room with the hope that you will let us know when something is amiss. We know we'll make mistakes or have problems from time to time, but this is really the life of any hospitality business. Our trick is to find out about problems fast and fix them even faster. What we do is driven by our customer's feedback and our employees who care about what they do.
Our employees understand that our satisfied customers are the key to their paychecks coming every week. They understand how important it is to make sure our guests are happy. The care they have shown in everything they do.
I used to own restaurants years ago and I learned the art of making customers happy, one meal at a time. Good food, good service, good prices. Simple. The Harvest Restaurants were some of the busiest restaurants in the Boulder/Denver Colorado area. It was there, with this Natural Foods concept, that I developed my skills in taking care of customers.
After my restaurant stint I went on to start a fresh squeezed juice company, called J.S. Grant's, Just Squeezed Juices. We sold fresh juices in a five state region. I eventually sold the company to a large fresh juice/smoothie company named "Odwalla".
Anyway, here I am now making waves in Moab. We are the only property in town which proudly displays its Tripadvisor ranking on our sign outside. Pretty risky I suppose, but when you think about it, why shouldn't I? I'm counting on my staff to do such a great job that we'll make almost every guest happy, and when we don't achieve this goal, we expect to hear about it so that we can fix it. Seems like a pretty good approach all the way around. Do a good job and let your satisfied customers do the talking for you?
