Overall
I really want to love this place but...

I really want to love The Old Post, but they just don't love me back. The location is convenient, the deck is really pleasant, but the the food has made me sick on multiple occasions. I used to be a huge fan of the fish tacos. They are good, but I've had a few too many bad experiences (they have made me really sick more than once) to ever eat them again. Another meal, a salad with goat cheese fritters ended up having pieces of a plastic spatula mixed in with the cheese mixture (before it was fried apparently). The service is horrendous, and I would feel a bit better about all of this if I didn't see the entire kitchen wasted at the bar by 3 p.m.
