Outdated systems- reserved a compact car online, got there, and was informed they don't actually have any cars available. That the online reservation system reserves the price but not an actual vehicle. Which is interesting because......they had one -and only one- vehicle left, an SUV. Conni stated they could rent that to me instead at full price. So, apparently it doesn't really reserve the price, either. I'm not sure why they bother with an online "reservation" system at all. But at any rate. It gets better.I can handle an outdated system (usually). I can't handle being treated like trash when the outdated system causes a problem. Conni didn't care. "Luckily" she isn't the only one at Hertz capable of being uncaring, rude, and unwilling to help- you can experience these same wonderful frustrations by calling their national number, too!Check out the South Bend location, though. Finally got a vehicle figured out over there, and the lady was VERY nice. Hertz ought to let her handle their Mishawaka and call center customer service training. South Bend location has some pretty rough reviews, too, but at least you'll be treated with dignity.
