Lazy, liars, and drunks. They'll quote you a time and take 3 times as long. Don't bother unless you like being sorely disappointed.

1st, This is not his address. He is not licensed, insured, bonded, or registered with state of MN. ZERO; f- for Jamie Mathews Hardwood floors.Mathews Hardwood Floors is not a known business entity in Minnesota. He advertises he is Licensed, Registered, Insured and Bonded, He has no insurance. He is not registered with the State of Minnesota. He is not licensed or bonded. End of the day he is not someone you want to hire to do your hardwood floors. RUN THE OTHER WAY!I first met Jamie Mathews in March 2016. He was a great sell! He claimed to be bonded, licensed, insured and registered. He also talked about his attention to detail in matters of mixing bundles, what is referred to as stair casing where boards are placed with 2”-3” steps between them. Laying floors without attention to mixing bundles so you have a mixture of darker and lighter boards and NOT stair casing are the hallmark of a fantastic hardwood floor installer. Jamie Mathews talk scored a 10. Actual adherence to these techniques gets a ZERO!
NEVER PURCHASING APPLIANCES FROM YOUR TEAM AGAIN!Looking to purchase a new appliance or two? DO NOT buy them from The Home Depot (Plymouth, MN) like we did...So sad to share because Jon and I were really looking forward to our fancy new front loaders today!1. No one called to confirm an appointment window in advance (the day before)2. The installers called us today 30 mins before they were arriving, which meant my husband had to leave work to meet them since we had no warning.3. When they arrived, the installers told us we had not paid for a "gas dryer hookup" and without paying onsite they could not deliver and install. When we went through the process Crystal asked if we needed gas or electric for the dryer. We told her gas and she said there was an additional charge for the hookup to which we said OK and WE ASKED AFTER PAYING IF THERE WAS ANYTHING ELSE WE NEEDED TO PAY FOR ON SITE. SHE TOLD US NO...4. We told the associate we spoke with originally at the Plymouth store (Crystal), that Jon (my husband) was coming into your location talk to her and when he arrived she "went to lunch" and was unavailable. (this was a span of 15 minutes)5. The assistant manager was unprofessional and impolite. The order was never entered correctly, to begin with, and even the financing terms we negotiated in writing were wrong on the order within your system. We will be rethinking all of our Home Depot purchases in the future.
He was so easy to work with. Very honest and was on time. I was so happy I went with him. Thank u jamie
Huge home supplies and building emporium . Lots of parking. Can be overwhelming. Know what you need when you come here.
I went to the showroom and met with JC. I wanted to order some wood flood, but she would never return my phone calls or emails. After a month of trying I will never recommend or go back there again. All I wanted to do was to give them some money for flooring, but they unfortunately did not want to take it (appox. 1500 Sq/ft of flooring)
Very nice establishment, however very disappointed in the customer service with custom orders. [Windows] very, very poor service and unreliable.
Great for all your home improvement needs! A selection that is best in class! Fair prices! Friendly, competent and courteous staff to help you with your home improvement needs!
This was the second Tile Shop location in the Twin Cities where a salesperson sold us tile that was inappropriate for the location and function where it would be installed. I think the salespeople must work on commission and will tell you what they think you want to hear to make the sale. This time the salesperson sold us white marble tile for a steam shower we were building. After installing it, we read online that white marble is inappropriate for steam showers because it oxidizes to an ugly brown color. After spending thousands of dollars and countless hours installing the tile, we have a tile that is turning an ugly brown color. I will never buy tile from the Tile Shop again.
I have to disagree with the other review. Reis and Touchdown Tile have remodeled my bathrooms and kitchen floor and they all look amazing! So glad I found them!
