First I have to say the staff at this hotel was wonderful and helpful. When I checked in I was greeted by a gentlemen named Naif, what a terrific man. I arrived on Thursday night with a third-party reservation, that I made on last minute due to work. I was exhausted and cold, I didn't realize that I booked the wrong date and the wrong hotel. Seeing my frustration he kept he's great customers service. I had stayed in many hotels due to work and never have an experience like I had that night. You can tell that Mr. Naif loves his job and no doubt he loves working with people. He will put him self on peoples shoes and not a few people will do that. A great customer service it’s not something that you learn in a day, it’s knowing how you want to be treated as a guest and he knows how to embrace it with a great smile all the time. I had stayed in fancy hotels but AmericInn made me feel like home and like family. He was most gracious and welcoming, I felt he was genuinely happy to see me there in the middle of the night. I was truly impressed with his sense of ownership for his guest. WIFI was fast and efficient and breakfast was amazing, good location overall. My bad night turned into a unforgettable night. I would most DEFINITELY return and share my experience with my co-workers and friends. Thank you.

This is one of the first motels we have found where your choice of rooms really, REALLY, does matter a lot. (And that fact explains a few of the other varying reviews as well.) Our initial reservation was in a single queen room (they do have double queen rooms but I do not know what those are like) as we were just staying one night and were only going to be there for a few hours. That room, although clean, was small, cramped, somewhat dated, and next to the elevator shaft -- as were all the single queen rooms apparently. A very nice and helpful desk attendant, however, had warned us in advance (so we peeked) and told us that for a little more we could get the king with new bedding and much larger. Correct! The king room we took for a little more money was extremely large, clean, and well kept. The bed was very comfortable. Toilet and shower seperate from the sink. Nice touch when two people are in the room. Air conditioning unit was automatic and relatively quiet. Wonderful room really for the price. Location is convenient if you have a car, but there is nothing much within easy walking distance as you are on the other side of the highway from MOA and most restaurants.
We have stayed at AmericInn's all over the country over the past 15 years. We stay most often at the Bloomington/Richfield location because we live in MN & we go to this area to connect with our family for various events. We have always been satisfied with this hotel. The staff is ALWAYS friendly & helpful. We have had many Family "Pool Parties" for birthday, & such over the years. Breakfast is always good, although we did not partake of breakfast on this trip. We have also used the "Park & Fly" service twice now when we have flown out of the Twin Cities to Mexico. We have not had any problems EVER! Excellent hotel & very well managed. One trip, at least 5 years ago, I left my jewelry in a dresser drawer & they called me to tell me it was at the front desk! The Maid had turned it in!
The Assistant Manager and night clerk both performed way beyond our expectations, we needed a 2:30 AM wake up call and were treated to fresh coffee, rolls and fruit, not the full blown breakfast but way more than we expected. Whwn we returned to the Hotel to collect our car after a week long vacation it had been cleared of more than a foot of snow by the assistant manager. We were so impressed by the actions of both these gentlemen we called the corporate customer service line to extoll their virtues. If you have to fly out of MSP and want to park your car while you are gone I would suggest the AmericInn Bloomington East. With the reasonable price of one nights room my car was secure and cared for, and we were treated better, way better, than expected.
My wife and i stayed there for almost 6 days, and in the end we agreed that problably we couldn't have done better choice. We´re aware that there's differences between european and american standards and this is not any type of consideration to any one of them, since we been traveling for almost 10 years togheter to both destinations.Of course when you go to Minneapolis you have to go to the Mall Of America (the biggest in USA) and i'm not a big shopping fan. This unit of AmericInn is close to the airport close to the Mall and 15 min drive to Downtown.Great value for a nice and very spacious room, professional staff and a very decent Breakfast although they announce as being Continental it's much better than that.Front Desk very helpful
Based on other reviews of it being disgusting and bad service, I nearly packed latex gloves and mentally problem-solved before arriving. The hotel is fine! The room was clean, had all supplies needed, and has somewhat been updated. The front desk was quick and helpful. I saw a maintenance person about 4 different times. The pool and hot tub were great according to my kids and the area had a lot of pool towels. Breakfast was clean and plentiful. I'm giving this an "excellent" rating because for $80, everything was positive, there was a good, free breakfast, and the convenient location to the Mall of America. This is not luxury; this is a budget-midrange hotel. Great value.
Great place to stay if you are looking for clean, comfortable and affordable. The staff at the front desk were always friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The pool water was warm unlike other hotels we've stayed at so I can honestly say the entire family enjoyed our pool time. Breakfast was hot, fresh and over all good. In the future I will not bother shopping around for a hotel if we are making a trip to this area. I will also be more likely to book at the AmericInn over other hotel's simply because of my experience here. I will recommend this hotel to anybody who likes comfort.
I got there early and was able to check into my room. The room was clean and beds were vey comfort. My experience was great, the "staff" was friendly and the cleaning staff was also great. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and was very helpfully giving me directions on how to walk to places and how to catch the bus, and also able to walk to the Mall of America since I don't drive. Breakfast was the great, from waffles, eggs, biscuits, etc.You can have coffee (great) any time of the day. I will be happy to stay in another Americinn hotel.
Would Stay Again - DefinitelyThis hotel was super easy to get to, Hotel is right next to the highway 55. REALLY close to the Mall of America and close to the MSP Airport. The front desk staff were fantastic and friendly. The only complaint was that the parking lot was full Friday night so we have to park our car in alternate parking Lot next to Hotel Building. However, a staff member also gave us his parking space immediately thats very nice Hospitality. We Appreacite that but we park in alternate parking Lot. We will definitely stay here again.
From beginning to end the Americinn in Bloomington was a very comfortable stay. Very cleans rooms, very comfortable bed, great access to the interstate and very close to the Mall of America and Airport. The staff was very friendly and allowed me to check in early which was a big help for me. Can't beat the hot waffles for breakfast either much better than the traditional continental breakfast that you get at other hotels in the price range. They have earned my business, and I recommend this hotel as an affordable options in the twin cities area
