Decided to go to Two Stooges for my son's 21st birthday. He is a huge UFC fan and wanted to have his friends for the fight. I have to tell ya I am pretty hard to please but went away knowing we had found a new place for gatherings.
They staff assisted me in coming up with a great food menu that fit my budget. The wings were as good as they get and the pizzas were great... We got to reserve their VIP Octagon for our guests and had the option of purchasing bottles beer for their UFC Octagon cooler... It was great, and my son thought it was way cool. About 25 of us sat in the octagon others sat around the outside...
They had 2 servers just for our party, and both were always there... We didn't really have to wait excessive amounts of time. They have tons of tv's to watch on, and a huge big screen. I guess our only issue would have been in the beginning I don't think they had the sound on in the back, but seemed to fix that within 5 minutes of the fights.
Thanks Two Stooges for making my sons 21st birthday a huge success... I would definately plan another party or event with them again.

Used to be my favorite place to hang out and shoot pool. Played leagues out of here for 5-6 years two nights per week. Then one of the owners (Ty) left and it all went to hell. It is obvious that they want to be known as a ""kiddie club"" and not a pool hall. No happy hour for pool players but if you are sitting at the bar (not paying for a table) you get drink specials. Hard to concentrate on pool with the mostly terrible singers screaming karaoke as loud as possible. They are always moving the tables for a dance floor (yeah in a pool hall) and they never get them properly balanced again. I've had to stop matches and ask that the table be releveled so that we can shoot a proper game. I am moving my team out of here to a place where the game is taken seriously, Biffs or CR's. Waitresses are for the most part the best you will find, but the ownership is taking it in a direction away from pool. If you want to dance and sing karaoke this is probably a good place but if you want to play pool not so much. Guess ""Billiards"" went away when they removed it from the name........remember University Billiards. Stooges is perhaps a more appopriate name given where they are headed.

My friends and I have been going to stooges off and on for roughly a year and have always been pleased with their service and enjoy the five alarm fridays; some of our good friends gogo dance there. We recently went there to hang out shoot some pool and dance a little bit but we were treated very poorly. They have new ""security"" there and they are very rude and are basically tools. We are 20 years old, cause no trouble and just wanted something to do on a Friday night but were treated like trash. I can honestly say that I have never been treated so poorly and will never go back there again.
There is a reason why I have been a patron at this pool hall for so many years. The staff is friendly, nice, and know there job. everyonce in awhile something out of the norm happens and a person makes a mistake or has a bad day. But, not as often as that patron who thinks he/she is the only one there and expects the staff to be standing right there when they want something. Everyone is so easy to talk to when you have a question or concern and the owner, Greg and Ty, are more then approachable. Nothing more needs to be said about the food other then it is great. There is such a variety to choose from. If your not sure what you want the staff can suggest a meal from the menu or a modification. After just a few visits the servers not only remember you but what you drink. Sometimes when they first approach you they ask if you would like your regular beverage by name, other times the have it with them for you when they say hi.I have read some of the other reviews and can say out of the thousands of visitors and only how many bad reviews??? Two Stooges has some new managers but they all strive for customer service and satisfaction. I would tell you my favorite servers but they all are so nice it wouldn't be fair to leave anyone out. so stop in and give them a try. Let your own experience bring you back.

I have been to this establishment a couple times - once during non-happy hour (extremely high drink prices, by the way), and once during happy hour (decent specials). Service was good both times (we sat at the bar). On both visits, the bartender asked for a credit card to hold a tab. Fine, no problem. However, on the 2nd visit, I paid for my tab in full with a gift certificate, and tipped 20% in cash. Nothing should have been charged to my credit card. However, when checking my statement a few days later, I saw that my card was charged an odd amount (nothing close to what my bill was). I figured they just made an honest mistake, so I called and talked to the general manager. He pulled up his credit card logs, found my name, found my original tab, but said they did not charge me anything, and that my bank would probably refund it because it was their mistake. All a complete and total lie. How could they pull up my name if I paid with an anonymous gift certficate and paid cash? I did get refunded after I disputed the transaction. I will never go to this bar again. The manager should have admitted they mistakenly charged me, offer an immediate refund, and offer a complimentary drink or something to get me back in their bar. Instead, he chose to lie about it. Not good.

I've been going here for a couple of years, and there's a good reason that I do. Great staff overall (a couple could admittedly relearn some basic training, but you find that everywhere) who are very friendly, down to earth and knowledgeable. Deven is my absolute favorite server...been there for years and knows her stuff, she'll remember you. They have free pool for the ladies on Sundays and Tuesdays after a certain time, and drink specials all the time. They have everything for everyone: Karoake, dancing & music w/DJ Extreme, pool tables up the wahoo and darts, trivia, tvs for the sports fans, raffles, live music and fun events that range from mechanical bullriding to Wii contests to an all-male review (don't worry guys, they have Vikings cheerleaders there sometimes, too). I normally don't write reviews like this EVER. But I saw some complaints about the managers being prejudiced against minorities or something. I've never seen any proof of that. I have friends there that are African American, Asian and Hispanic and they're all perfectly happy regulars. Love this place, the staff, the owners, the drinks, the patrons. I'll keep coming back!

I really enjoy this place. The staff is has always treated me well. The thing I really like about the place is that I can watch ""the game"" and then party after words. Its not just a sports bar by any means. I was up there watching the Twins tie-break game vs. White Sox. While we lost and ended the baseball season, there was karaoke after the game. The night still ended on a positive note. There's always something to do at stooges. And there's always some special which is good for the pocket books. I've only been going to this place for about 6 months but I've never had a bad expierence.

This place USED to be so great! WEAK WEAK drinks, terrible service, badly maintained tables with the lights above them flickering on and off while you're trying to shoot, next to no A/C and only 1/3 of the ceiling fans working. If you order food bring your own silverware AND napkins, you never get them with your food and by the time they bring them to you AFTER you request them your food is cold and inedible. Bad parking and no place for smokers like other bars/pool halls. Terrible TERRIBLE....

Honestly I wouldn't even think about giving this place a star. The management there is obviously prejudice towards African and Asian Americans. It was an hour berfore closing and last call is at 1:20 a.m. and the manager saw us drinking our beer at the pool table. She goes and tells our server to pour our glass of beer and pouring it back into our pitchers before last call was called. I was like what was that about, we aren't there to cause trouble. We were there to have fun. The manager there assumed that we were all a bunch of middle aged adults who go around causing trouble because she is stereo typical type of person. Well lady not all African and Asian cause trouble ok!!! Stop being prejudice towards other ethnic groups. Seeing how the manager there which is a lady treating Caucasians with more respect than others. I wouldn't reccomend this place to anybody seriously. This place is rude and an umcomfortable environment to be in. How you can you have fun and relax at a place like this?
