Just read this and weigh your options

I have seen so many horrible things happen in this place, and some of those things happened to me. In case you haven't notice the best way to lose your customers and run out of business is to peeve someone off. The portions of food are small. Yes, in a buffet(SMALL AMOUNT OF FOOD) There might not even be enough for a family to sit down and eat. You'll be told you take too much food, and the owner will tell you that your food will cost a different price so watch when you take out here. The service there is not polite. No body wants to come into a place when your not smiling, or even attempting to care, or talk to the customer. You can't treat them like dirt, they won't come back. It's a buffet and a lady was told she had to leave because she ate too much. This has happened multiple times with various people. So if you like to eat light, then this is the place for you. Might be okay if your going on a date, but that's it. Still I wouldn't do that the people are not friendly.

Worst buffet in the Twin Cities

I normally set my expectations low when I go to a Chinese Buffet. I know it wont be a 5 star restaurant, but I do expect a good selection of hot food. Panda Garden Buffet could not even meet these low expectations and fails on every level. The food was horrible, the service was non-existant, the plates were dirty, the selection was minimal. I went at 7 PM and the place was almost empty. For good reason. The food in all the trays were old and looked like they had been out there for hours. The selection was laughable, a few ""chinese"" dishes and some generic american dishes. Every other plate was dirty. Service? What service? You had to get your own silverware, your own drink and your plates piled up on your table. I usually am not this harsh on reviews, but I was appalled by Panda Garden Buffet. Last time I will ever go there, they should just shut down the place and allow a new owner to build something.

Pick Somewhere Else!!

My friend and I went there for lunch. We like to head out to lunch since we rarely see each other, and we always like Chinese buffet since we can take our time eating and chatting. Especially trying different foods. Boy was this place a JOKE!

When we arrived we paid then had a seat. We were asked rather rudely if we wanted a booth or table. After being seated, we went up to get a plate to start dishing up so we could chat. I must have went through 4 plates to find a clean one, and my friend went through 3 or 4 as well. Half of the serving bowls were empty and not filled with food. So much for trying something different. Then, about 40 minutes after we had been there, this woman came up and took our glasses and plates from us and said BYE in a loud voice. The restaurant wasn't even busy. It was about 1 pm and we were very confused. My friend asked, ""Did you just say goodbye to us?"". The woman shook her head yes and said, ""goodbye!"" We were APPALLED! In all the years I've been to various restaurants, especially Chinese restaurants, I've never received such rudeness. We packed up our things and left. We'll gladly patronize somewhere else that welcomes us rather than this place.

It was also very filthy! My pop had some chunk in it and when I asked to have it emptied then refilled, a man acted like he didn't understand me. The floors were terribly sticky in some places and others were slimy/slippery. We could clearly see garbage over flowing into the buffet area from the kitchen.

Stay far, far away from this place!! Pick somewhere else- anything is better than here.
