Something R/C for everyone, no one left out!
Hobby Warehouse is a small business that started up in 1994. We started with 1100 square feet and upgraded to 5000 in 2005. About every inch of ceiling space is used to hang new and used airplanes and helis, while on the shelves we have cars, trucks and boats. We take trade-ins and used items to allow you to upgrade in your hobby. We have personal contacts in the local flying clubs and can direct you to a good flying field in your area. We have something for every level of R/C, if you’re a beginner or seasoned you’ll find it here. The people we serve aren't just customers, they are like family and friends. The store has become just like their second home and you’ll never find a friendly group of guys to be around. If we don't have the answers for you normally you'll find it from one of the many customers that "hang-out" daily at the store as they like to share their expertise and experiences. We hold 2 swap meets throughout the year, spring and fall. This is a free event where you supply your own table, open your trunk of drop your tailgate in the parking lot. Refreshments are available. Tom, the owner, has been an avid R/Cer for over 30 years, first building planes then mastering the flying of them. He’s also run cars and boats as a secondary hobby. It’s been said many times that it’s like a “kid in the candy store” when you walk in. Plan on having time to look as it will take time to check things out. You’ll always see something you missed the first time when you came in and we encourage browsing.
We are approximately 4 miles, northwest, of the Mall of America. We are between 12th and Portland and between 494 and Crosstown 62. Don't let the residential area fool you as we are right in the middle of the neighborhood.
