Things happen and people make mistakes, its how the companies handles it and after repeated calls to report that they left full garbage bags in the garbage can they still would not even give a free month for the trouble. I do not recommend them and I will be changing companies. maybe I will only send partial payment and just say sorry I will look into it and talk to my accountant about it!! I would bet they are not ok with that!
Worst service EVER!!! Worst Customer service EVER! They want paid up front, skip trash and/or recycle days. Then when you call to tell them this they say that it is not your week (even though I have the calendar they sent me).
I have only used The Garbage Man for the past 3 months, they missed 2 recycle days. Picked up an item that I told them not to pick up (I have email proof that I sent them, stating this) then charged me a pickup fee without telling me. I called, spoke with Godfred, and explained this situation. He asked me to email him the email where I stated to not pick up the extra item. He then took off the charge and everything was fine. Five minutes later I get a call from Godfred saying that they did pick up the door and I have to pay for it and they are "flagging" my account. Needless to say, I was not happy about this. I then called back later that day to speak with a manager. The CSR (Carson) told me he is the supervisor of half of CO and he was very apologetic (even told me that Godfred had only worked there for a week) and said he would do whatever he could to keep us as customers. I said what you are offering. Carson gave me his direct line and said he will call back in 15 minutes. NEVER called back. So the next day I called to cancel my service. On that call, I made sure that they were going to pick up our trash and recycling (our week, based on their calendar) because I had already paid through the end of this month. The CSR said yes, both trash and recycling will be picked up. Skip to 2 days later, my recycling is still sitting out front of my house. This morning, I called. Spoke with Carson (who did not tell me this was him) who told me it is not our week. I told him according the calendar you sent me, it is. And they picked up the recycling 2 weeks ago. He hung up on me. I called back the phone rang was picked up and hung up immediately. I called again and women picked up. I asked to speak with the manager, she said Andrew was the supervisor and he was in a meeting until 9. I asked her to get him out of the meeting to speak with an unsatisfied customer. She said she couldn't. I called Carson's direct line and some women picked up and acted like a recording telling me to call another phone number. Then, I get a call from Andrew (before 9am, guess the meeting ended early). Andrew said he could not send someone out to pick up the recycling and he could not refund me for service not rendered. This is by far the WORST company and customer service I have ever dealt with. Rating is below 1 star!!!
