Overall

If I could rate this clinic a 0, I would. We only went here for two months and had three awful experiences. The first had to do with one of the ultrasound techs, who could never find one of my ovaries. Not the same ovary, mind you - she just couldn't figure out where ovaries should be, I guess. She would root around, then finally phone a friend and have another tech come in and that person would find it right away. I always bled for days when she did my ultrasound and after two failed attempts with her, we asked that she not be our tech again, only to have her again the next time we went in. We asked AGAIN that she not be our ultrasound tech and the lead ultrasound tech promised us that she would not be.

The second negative experience was with one of the nurses. She told us that I was only "making duds." That's right - this infertility clinic told me that my eggs were "duds." She went on to explain that the meds they were giving me were like Miracle Grow and my ovaries were the tomato plants. I was only making green tomatoes. I work in a professional field and would have been fired if I had made such an ignorant comment to someone with whom I work. I had eggs grow and had IUI's done both months, but that didn't lead to pregnancy either time. I think I would most likely be writing this same review if I actually had gotten pregnant, since our treatment there was so bad.

The third negative experience was with Dr. Campbell himself. We had come in for a regular ultrasound when the tech noticed that I had ovulated by myself, without being triggered. I was also still growing another egg, so we wanted to know when we should have the IUI done. We obviously didn't know which of the eggs would be viable, so we wanted to make sure we timed the IUI correctly. Dr. Campbell stormed into the office where we were waiting to consult with him and yelled "I don't have time for this!" We were shocked and simply asked him what we should do. He screamed "Do what you want to do!" We were seeking HIS advice because he was OUR doctor. It shouldn't have been an annoyance for him to advise us as to what course of action to take.

This was an extremely negative experience for us. When a couple seeks treatment for infertility, you don't expect to be treated like this at all. We spent close to $10K in the two months we were "treated" here. The stress they caused and the disrespect we endured is inexcusable. The lesson we learned is that we don’t dare ask questions about the care we are receiving, or it will be seen as an inconvenience and we will be viewed as difficult patients. We will most certainly be seeking treatment elsewhere and advise others to do the same.

Highly recommended

Of course we had a happy outcome, but I spent a lot of time here, and I think they are the best.
