Wow. Not sure how this company is still in business. I called today, August 23rd to ask for a quote for a move on August 31st. The guy laughed and said, "So you just want a quote or you're actually going to be moving and not just wasting my time?" "And why are you booking this last minute?" (As if I need to explain my personal situation to him.) This is seriously how the call started. I said, I'm a bit confused, I'm calling to get a quote because I'm moving, so yes, I will be scheduling a mover based on quotes received. His response was I don't understand why people call to just get a quote but then don't actually book the move. Well, Big Gunz, here's a little "Business/Customer Service 101", people will call more than one moving company to get quotes, then they make a decision based on the info provided and call back to book it or if you aren't the first place they've called, it might get booked during that initial phone call. HOWEVER, if you are unnecessarily rude to customers as soon as you answer the phone, chances are, they will not hire you. Without further discussion, I was hung up on. Don't waste your time with a call to this company. Call someone who actually wants your business.

Worst moving company I have ever dealt experience with John from Big Gunz...

Called a couple weeks before move, met up with him to give $100 deposit, agreed on date and time which was noon, he said no problem, talked to him the day before the move and he adds "we'll be there between noon and one pm, we need a one hour grace period" First time this came up, had talked to him multiple times before then and he never once mentioned it. I had rented an U-Haul truck and was hiring two of his guys to help me load and unload. John said they would meet at the location, load the truck then follow in their personal car to the new location and unload. The morning of the move John called and wanted to know if the guys could ride with me in the U-Haul truck, wasn't thrilled as it would be very cramped quarters but said ok. At 12:56pm received a text from John saying they were on their way, so much for the hour grace period. I called to see what was up, why they were late and when would they be there, literally spoke to him for about 13 seconds and he hangs up on me and sends me a text telling me to find another mover. Left me completely high and dry, couldn't believe it. So now I want my deposit back, I called him, no joke, 38 times and he never once picked up. To show you the character of this amateur, he sent me a text an hour or so later stating he dropped off the deposit at the office of the new apartment location. He didn't even have the guts to face me and give back the deposit, he had to slink off to the new location to give back the deposit. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

The owner cancelled on me 5 days before our move due to the fact he quoted $90 for a truck fee and then quoted $100-$150. When I showed him the text that he originally said $90 he cancelled on me. When I told him that I was leaving an online review he told me to "stop harassing him".

For someone to cancel on you via text with no reason other than you proved them wrong is ridiculous. I have the text thread to prove that I did not harass him, and that he cancelled on me for no reason.

I will make sure to warn other homeowners...they don't have contracts, so they can do whatever they want and they are also not insured, so if they break something, it's on you.



Very unprofessional - the owne...

Very unprofessional - the owner was very nice over the phone while scheduling, but stated that he would call to confirm the weekend before our Monday move. I still hadn't heard from him Sunday evening, so we booked another company through Uhaul's website. When I called to notify him, he argued with me and told me that they would be more expensive, to which I replied that they had actually under-bid him - his response was an angry one, stating that they had "gone to his website and copied him" for pricing. He said "good luck - what a bunch of yahoos" and hung up.
