The store is very small and disorganized. They claim to have the largest selection in the area. However you can find more established restaurant supply stores that have more options with a quick search online. We did try to place an order which wouldn't have been possible if they didn't find their catalog. Long story short - it took a week of some back and forth to finally get an estimate from them since they did not answer all of our questions in our first email. Then we found out they made a $40 error in their favor on the invoice. They have a slogan on their about us page that states "Brand name china for half price or less" / followed by "Volume Advantage Pricing" / followed by a "best price guarantee".... But when we asked if they could help us out with the total since we found the exact same items cheaper elsewhere - all they did was resend us the original invoice they sent us before with no explanation as to why they were not willing to stick by their policies and help us out.
I started up a small bakery and was looking for some gently used items to cut costs. I was glad I went, I saved money and found some rare baking items that you can only find on Ebay or Etsy. I would have given 5 stars except they didn't have some of the items I needed used so I had to purchase them new. They ordered the items I needed and it only took about a week or so. I will be back to the Palen company as my bakery expands. Really interesting place!
Ha-ha! It's funny because she's black!
Just wondering what kind of coincidence it is that the police show up, quickly pulling up behind the Mercedes of a Black female doctor who had to rush into this store, between clinics, to buy a couple of white lab coats (after getting hard looks/strange reception upon entering their store). Wierd! Have suspicions about this incident. Wouldn't recommend this place, just for that. (Got a good deal on the lab coats, though, in their close-out sale.)
