Very poor service, I had done eyelashes extension last week, all of them fall of in 5 days !!! I've paid almost $100 for nothing, I will never ever go back there.
Great customer service, with new types of hair coming in weekly! Their store is PACKED with amazing products. It's hard for me not to spend all my money here.
My mom and I have gone to Al for years when he was still at M salon. We always had a great relationship or so I thought. A month before my wedding Al dyed my hair which at first looked great but was way too bright in the sunlight- not exaggerating when I say Ronald McDonald bright. My hair is naturally red and I wanted a darker richer more natural color. I asked if I could come back to get it fixed. I came back and he was already mixing the color when I walked in. I showed him the picture again (as I did the first time) of how I wanted my hair to look. When the towel came off my head my hair was almost black with purple and reds. I did not get rude or freak out in anyway. I told him it looked really dark. He said it looked like the picture. I held the picture next to my hair and said “this picture?” He seemed baffled that I said this and wasn’t saying it looked good or similar to the photo. I asked when I could come back to get it fixed and never even thought about getting my money back or anything. I was willing to work with him to get it fixed. He looked at me and said well I’m just going to give you your money back and you might need someone else to do your hair from now on. So cold, Just like that, A month before my wedding. A wedding he was going to do my hair for and attend as a guest! I was in shock and obviously went home and cried. I was extremely hurt and now had basically black hair and no stylist one month before my wedding day. Al also blocked me and and my mom on his personal page and Taylor and Burton’s page on Facebook. I posted this review on the original Taylor and Burton page on Facebook and it was immediately taken down. It’s extremely unethical to only keep the good reviews and not the “bad” ones which happen to be true. This was a horror story that you read about a bride right before her wedding. Someone I trusted and thought so highly of treated me so unprofessionally.
Outstanding customer service. Sabiha is very professional, experienced and she explained all the steps as she was doing my microblading procedure. Highly recommended.
Antoinette has been doing my hair for awhile now and never disappoints. The atmosphere here is relaxing and we can always have a good time together. The staff is always professional and I could never ask for a better salon to attend when I'm off work.
It's like once you find hair you like, they stop ordering it
Decent size store, not a lot of options in different hair types
This was my cousin experience shopping there this weekend, and due to how she was treated I will never spend a penny there: Quote from her facebook post: Teresa 52 mins · I don't usually rant... but this incident I must share!!!...BOYCOTT, Boycott boycott...the Value beauty on 100th and Silver spring!! They are so disrespectful! There were 10 people in line with one cashier...while the mgr and 2 alike associates stood in the isle talking...and I walked up to him and asked if they could open another line.. he said no, I thought he was kidding but would acknowledge my request... so I proceeded to grab my items... when I got to the front and the line was still 10 .. I walked over and asked again if he could open another line...he said no and if you don't like there is another store next door...I then said what about customer service and the fact that we are all black customers standing in line... to buy the black products that you sell...he said I don't care... as he looked me up n down... I put my items down and proceed to tell the people in line that this store does not respect black buying power!! Take your business some where else because I refuse to shop where I am not respected!! And as I was leaving I told the guy thanks for the customer service.. I will never shop here again... do you know that mug had the nerve to clap and say good!!! PLEASE do not spend your money where people don't respect you!! And especially at VALUE BEAUTY!!...Anyone know of a black owned beauty hair supplier? Feeling really !! Please share!!
I have had two brain tumor operations-chemo and radiation. I was losing hair and needed help. Marcia is an angel-she is so caring and so helpful-helped me pick out a beautiful wig that fits perfect, style is perfect and so is the color -if you need help she is the lady to see-first class all the way!!!
