I don't have experience with actually using their service, but I have experience with one of their drivers today. I was driving to work, and this silver mini van was on my tail, while previously weaving through traffic. I move to the other lane and let them pass while raising my arm up (no obscene gestures here) and he gets irate by speeding up to where I am, slowing down, moving left to right as if he's going ram into my car. I take note of the CITY WIDE TRANSIT on the side and the varying degrees of dent/damage on the right-hand side of the vehicle. Later that day, I call and file a complaint. It's ridiculous that you are a public transportation vehicle (IE, serving the public) yet you give everyday people bad impressions in and out. I hope he gets reprimanded. People like that who have no patience or respect for others on the road shouldn't be with a taxi service.
I use ride services provided through my medical insurance. I had just gotten this company to replace a previous company who made me miss 2 doctor appointments in a row by not sending the drivers to pick me up in time. After talking with the owner of this company (who sounded like the Quik-E Mart owner from The Simpsons) for the first time to set up 2 appointments, he boasted how he never makes anyone miss an appointment, and lah-dee-dah, etc. So I made my arrangements for rides to appointments I needed. My appointments were to have been the next 2 days. So the next day, 20 minutes before I need to be at my eye doctor, this guy finally sends me a ride. I was originally supposed to be picked up between 9am to 9:30am for my 10am appointment, but he didn't even call the driver until 9:40am I found out from the driver. I barely make it in time, he avoids phone calls, and gives excuses over texts. He claims the original driver's mother died. (I worked in customer service, you don't ever make the personal problems of your employees the responsibility or problems of the customer or end user of your services, it's up to you to provide coverage). Then this guy could not guarantee I would have a ride to my appointment the following day which for me is even more critical. I ended up having to scrounge up bus fare to get a ride to the next day's appointment and terminate services with this unreliable, shady, unprofessional company, after only a day. then the owner/dispatcher, after dropping the ball on his responsibilities, not even being willing to assure me of getting to my appointment the next day has the balls to tell me over text "I can handle your behavior" anymore as if he's known me for so long. His first time providing me service and it was shoddy as hell, and he accepts no responsibility for his lousy, unprofessional service. So if you have anything critical or even remotely important you need to get to, make sure you do not use this fly-by-night crapsack of a business. EDIT: The next day after telling me I can't have any more rides and that I need to find a new company through my insurance (because he doesn't want to be responsible enough apparently to do his job) he goes ahead and sends a ride without telling me after first telling me I couldn't have any more rides because of my issues with him the previous day of him making me nearly miss my appointment. So I decided to take the bus, and the ride calls when I am on the bus. I had to cancel the ride. Text messaging with this guy to the number provided on this profile resulted in him calling me names, stereotyping me as a lazy bum who doesn't want to work (because of my physical disabilities) and this guy accepts contracts with county agencies to shuttle handicapped people, but he's going to accuse me of being "on welfare and my lazy ass don't want to work" (exactly how he phrased it) when I have certifiable physical disabilities that prohibit me from doing so. (Attempts to find desk work from home notwithstanding) Anyone using this service to transport their loved ones who may be disabled may want to reconsider since he apparently thinks disabled people are "lazy shit on welfare that don't want to work". He also threatened me if I didn't stop texting him but was not specific what he would do. I ultimately blocked his number and will be notifying the police since this person has my address and could very easily retaliate. He resorted also to the use of the F word and other abusive language in his texts. You may want to consider not using this unprofessional, and unreliable service. I believe any contracts he has with Milwaukee County also need to be cancelled.
I work at an adult day care and one of these drivers was dropping off a client. He was cutting people off to get into the parking lot faster and almost hit three different cars. He was speeding through the parking lot and flying around corners. All of this was before the client had gotten out of his car and he didn't even get out to help. He pulled up and was sitting on his phone while she got herself out and then he took off at lightning speeds again. This is not the first time we have had issues with the City Wide drivers in our parking lot.
They were late 5 times in one week and when I called them and asked where the ride is they hung up the phone
