RUN...I repeat RUN!!! Do not Walk RUN, away from this property management company!!! My daughter and her roommate had to stay in their apartment for 5 day without heat!!! THIS IS WISCONSIN!!! I called the state and they went right out there and told them they would be fined if their apartment was not at least 68 degrees. He told them to fix it and all of the other issues he documented immediately!!! They told him they would be right out, and they came out a replaced a battery in the thermostat, and that was not the issue. They did not take care of the long list of things they had been asked to do by my daughter and roommate for 2 months. I took pictures of the apartment 2 weeks after they moved in. Message me and I would love to share them with you. The staff is the worst staff ever. I have been in the Property Management for almost 20 years and I know how residents are supposed to be treated. These people were the rudeness I have ever encountered in my 20 plus years in the business. Amanda the manager’s boss told me that no one had put in a work order, but my daughter emailed me each work order with dates and times that she sent directly to AMANDA!! IT took over 5 hours for my daughter to get a copy of the requested lease once the State asked for it. If I could give it negative stars I would!!!! AS OF RIGHT NOW THEY STILL HAVE NO HEAT!!!! These pictures were taken 2 weeks after my daughter moved in. She has been there since July. They were promised a deep clean and that the walls would be fixed. The State had to intervene and still her her heat does not work and her apartment looks like a flob house. The apartment was not ready when they were told they could move in. They only moved in because they had given notice at their previous place and had to be out that day.
Thank you so so so very much KATZ for providing us a absolutely wonderful apartment at Marshall Manor with continuous maintenance support (every time :)). Me and my family is very grateful to you guys for proving a secure and clean place to live in past 3.5 years. Thank you Ken for your very friendly nature and always there to help us with a big smile.
When the Porticos was first built in Fox Point, it was known as the "crown jewel" of the North Shore apartments. Some years later, a group from Texas bought the 3-building complex as an investment. The lack of care and management by this company had tarnished this "jewel" into a sad development in deed of serious repairs. The "Porticos" was then purchased by a local company, Katz Properties as an investment and was immediately attended to. Everything was repaired, refurbished and returned to the prized complex it had been â€“ plus more added amenities than were originally available. Now when I am asked where I live, my reply is "at the Porticos." There is always a positive response that makes me feel that I live in a special place. It's very nice to live "where everyone knows its name." Am I happy living at the Porticos? You bet I am!
I moved in September of 2016 and it was first months free rent plus no security deposit which the manager at the apartments in west Allis wrote! Then the head manager said no we have to put something down for security deposit. Since we had bad credit we didn't have many options. We are still living here but I can't wait to be out! When we moved in they only "spot" painted. Everything is rigged and not put together, the fridge I had was leaking water with puddles in the kitchen a lot and one of the owners it took a while just to get him to finally put a new fridge in. I still have continuous non stop issues! I wouldn't recommend them at all! I've had so many issues when I speak with one of the main managers of the entire place, I've had so many problems with him as well! Not a good place to live. It's expensive and outdated and they don't like to put money into the place! At night around midnight the manager snow blows the snow so it's hard to sleep!
I am extremely satisfied with my experiences with Katz Properties and would certainly recommend renting from them! I'm looking forward to many more years!
Stevie Drexler, the building manager was very nice. She kept the apartment clean and fresh and helped with any problems we had while living there. She kept track of packages and notified me if I had a packages in the lobby. She was very helpful on the move out and supplied cleaning supplies.
We cleaned our apartment up really well before moving out. When the inspector came through, he assured us that the apartment looked great and that we would receive our full security deposit within the week. It was a very smooth move out!
I can only categorize you as a 'good friend', and that feels right to me. So, thank you, thank you my new 'good friend'.
I just moved into one of their properties and I couldn't be happier. They really take the time to answer all your questions and make sure you are happy. They have a great matience staff that is on their game. Thank you Sidello Property for making my moving experience easy.
