She was happy to take cash my but when I asked her if she took my insurance, she lied. she said they didn't even though my friend who came later had the same insurance. She then cut my meds in half causing pain and suffering. after going though withdrawals she had me come back started prescribing again and did the same thing a month later 2 days before Christmas. She regularly disregards appointments. She makes people sit hours in the office while she helps new patients. She ignores HIPA laws. In my opinion she is getting kickbacks for making patients see a specific physical therapist. You can't see one of your own choosing. She doesn't want to forward medical records to new doctors because she tries to hide her shady practices.

Dr Farmer is the best pain management Dr. I've ever had because she takes the time to explain your diagnosis, and she's patient with you and she does everything by the book.
Dr Assen is terrific and makes you feel at ease about your procedures. He listens and addresses any questions you may have. Great doctorHis staff is one of the best I have ever dealt with. They are knowledgeable and most importantly friendly. They care about you not only as a patient but as a person. I highly recommend Dr Assen and his people
I have been bringing my mother to thi location for many years.as far as I'm concerned, they treat the patient like a piece of cattle. Get them in, get them out. They do not seem to TRULY listen to the paitient, as far as where the pain is or that the services they perform do no good, but continue to do it. They seem to have no compassion or enpathy for their patients. Seem to just want the money, and doesn't care to actually help the patient reieve the pain.
Had a couple appts here. Everything seemed fine, doc seemed caring. There were some extended wait times, but I wasn't overly bothered by it. They seemed to do everything by the book...Until they decided to book my appt on a day they were closed. I had an appt scheduled for 12/23. The Monday before, they left a message telling me I couldn't be seen on that day and they wanted to see me that Tuesday. I didn't get the message in time and no one called to actually speak to me to confirm it. I spent the next week calling the office, only getting the voicemail, trying to set up an appt. A week later, I finally get through to a person and am told that the doctor won't see me because I supposedly "missed my appointment."Even after explaining all this and stating I have my appointment card as proof, they still wouldn't work with me. Such a disappointment. If you're looking for a doctor that cares, skip this place. I'm sure my review won't bother them because there's no shortage of people who want pills bad enough to see a doctor like this, so she'll never want for patients, but I don't fall into that category. If you're looking for a caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable doctor, do yourself a favor and find a different one.
Dr. Farmer is very unprofessional. We are filing a suit today against her and her clinic, we will also being file several complaints against her practice and how she treats her patients. The way she administers drugs is unethical, she does not wean her patients off of medication the proper way and by legal guidelines. She cuts them off in half so they go through withdrawal. Then she comes up with lies to discharge her patients saying they broke their contract without even talking to the patient to get their side. She discharges them without having any medication and tells them to go to the emergency room for help. When we first started going there, we thought it was nice, the office was clean, there wasn't hours of waiting in a chair while in pain to be seen, they had an orientation, so it seemed like she really cared. Well that lasted until the next visit, the office was packed, the wait was hours, she treats you as if shes a cop instead of a caring doctor, doing her job. The list goes on and on, but after today, she will be busy defending why she does what she does to her patients. Good luck
Dr and PA's demand you go in every month to refill your prescriptions. They also "suggestfully sell” other add on product and viewer's to purchase. I wish you all luck! Especially James. He has been portrayed as the bad guy all season?
Dr. Donetello is the GREATEST pain management specialist I've ever been to. He VERY attentive to my back pain needs. I've been seeing him for about 6 years & honestly I'd be lost w/o Dr D. He's a god send to me personally & another friend of mine sees him also, & we both adore his personality. He's very straight forward with me, & his staff is also TERRIFIC!!. Thank You to Dr. D's whole team.
I will agree with jody, this place is a joke. I had also been referred to them by a primary doc. I had good Ins. and was told I had to go through these sets of shot. They called the facet injections. I went through them, didn't help me a bit. It did however, cost me a lot. So, after the injections, I had to see them every month to pick up a script. A office visit a month, just to get the paper prescription. After 2 years of this, I am told that if I want to continue to get the scripts, I would have to go through the injection process again. This left me without med.s to which a new Primary Doctor took care of for me. This place actually tried blackmailing me, saying if I wanted the prescriptions I was on, I would have to get injections again. I still hadn't had my part of the first set paid off. They don't even diverse the 1 star I had to mark!!!
