We have just placed an order today to try and see if william ho's was any good because our favorite 2 restaurants have closed so we were looking for another one. The egg rolls were so tough we could not eat it. Inside the egg roll i found 1 shrimp and the cabbage was too tough to eat and no flavor. The press duck was awful the hot pepper peanut chicken was tasteless it was spicy but had no peanut flavor. Crab rangoo was good bigger than most restaurants. The shrimp(hong kong shrimp) tasted like it was not fresh shrimp tasted fishy. We were very disappointed we will never go there again. Where is there a good chinese Restaurant????

When we arrived, there was only one other table occupied. The dining area was dark and everything looked like it hadn't been cleaned or dusted in a few years. Our server seemed new and a little flustered and kept running back and forth around the restaurant for things like water glasses and straws. We ordered out dinners and received our egg drop soup right away, which was good. The egg rolls came shortly after and were the high point of the meal, since they seemed to be lightly breaded and rolled by hand. However, the hot mustard that was brought out along with them seriously tasted like it has some sort of industrial cleaner in it. Not only was it in one of those yellow picnic-style squeeze bottles, it smelled like it had gone bad, which started to make me think the owners are not as clean as they once were. Our dinners arrived and I was very unimpressed. I ordered General Tso's Chicken, which turned out to be pre-packaged, breaded chicken, and was extremely overcooked to the point where I was spitting out pieces of the breading because they were too hard to chew. The chicken inside was overcooked, dry and dark gray in color. The General Tso's sauce, which is supposed to be sweet and spicy, tasted a lot like sesame chicken sauce and was not spicy at all.
My fiance ordered the Hot Garlic Shrimp, which contained 12 pieces of shrimp floating in a dark brown sauce that was eerily similar in taste to my General Tso's Sauce. There were no vegetables served with it, even though the menu said it came with water chestnuts, pea pods, etc. The worst part was that the shrimp were very overcooked and tasted very fishy, which led me to wonder if they were spoiled. She ate some of my chicken because I didn't trust the quality of the shrimp. By the time we wanted our check, the place was almost full and they still only had the one server.
I used to like this place, but I wouldn't recommend now. The cleanliness of the establishment is what concerns me most.

I've been eating in this restaurant couple of times and most of the time they were okay. The service is not that good and the atmosphere of the restaurant also not really comfortable. The food overall is fine but yesterday I just realized that the egg rolls are not fresh anymore or they probably expired already. AS a result, I got food poisonnn because of that. I don't really recommend this restaurant.
