I thought these guys did a fantastic job on my Honda Fit. I have to say that my dogs left things a little messy. Wasn't really sure what to expect. I was super impressed. I don't know how they got the car as clean as they did. Very good customer service. As a teacher I rate this place A+. I will surely be seeing them again in about 6 months.

I went to TenderCar because of the Groupon deal. I am so glad that I didn't pay full price for this. I went to pick up my car and I opened the door to find dog hair on the back of both the driver and passenger seats and headrests. I was told because I didn't upgrade the package that didn't include ""detail pet hair removal."" I would have thought that a base value detailing that runs $150 would have included vaccumming, silly me, what was I thinking? They also neglected to put back in my hatchback trunk cover. After I pointed it out they did go find it, uncleaned as well. The solution was someone came out with a lint brush that kept falling apart. I told them just to stop if that was the solution they came up with. The console, steering wheel and dash were done well. The customer service at the front end was fine, but the work left much to be desired. I just finished vaccumming my car at home and wish I wouldn't have left it with them for 5 hours today to do whatever it is that they did do.

Since the last time my car was clean was when it was new, I didn't really know what to expect from a detailing. Plus I bought a deal off the internet. But No bull, this place impressed me. Loved the job and the service. Got the upgrade to the white glove which made a huge difference where and X had keyed my car. Got the entire scratch out (she better put some muscle into scratching my car next time). Very impressed.

We brought in our vehicle via the Groupon . They ended up breaking the in-dash CD changer in my Torrent.
I'm not sure if they got liquid in there or what, but it was working perfectly when I dropped it off. When I picked it up, it displayed ""CD Changer Error"" and doesn't work at all.
I contacted the manager and he told me it's not his problem because we signed a damage waiver. Since we paid via groupon and were not subjected to any ""if we break your car, tough luck"" waiver, I'm pretty sure their waiver is non-binding.
Anyways, I highly suggest NOT taking your car here. If they break it, you bought it. Plus, the cleaning job was mediocre at best. Our mats were still dirty and there's no way the detail job was worth full price.

Bought my car here for the carpeting (winter took a nasty toll). I wasn't really sure if they could save the carpeting as I didn't have matts in all winter! The cleaned the carpeting to perfection along with everything else in the car. I guess I didn't know how dirty my car was until I saw it cleaned. I think I have discovered areas of my car that I didn't know existed because they were covered in garbage! Super happy and I give a big thumbs up!

Yes the shop is small, and yes they may be overwhelmed by the # of groupons they have sold recently but the service and work is great. I emailed in April and was able to get appointments in July during the 2 weeks I said I was available for 2 cars. I was contacted the week before to confirm my appointments and drop-off times. I had read on reviews that they could be overwhelmed in the AM with people and paperwork but I dropped off at the key box on a Sunday night and had minimal paperwork to fill out on Monday when I returned to get my car.
Both vehicles turned out stunning. The interior was immaculate (and I have fairly high standards). I did notice that my car mats which were shampooed as they dried showed residual salt stains but I wouldn't be surprised that 8years of salt residue might need a couple of shampoos to get out. Prior to leaving I was able to go over my car and point out any areas I thought were missed and was told to please come back if I notice anything later that I think should have been addressed.
On all accounts a really friendly small business that I would recommend and revisit in the future.
I love that tender car could squeeze me in last min because my poor car was in desprite need of a good cleaning. i opted for the red dress due to everything i needed done to my car. I felt they went above and beyond my expectations and delivered me a brand new car all over again. I have already told many family and friends about tender car and the ones that went there feel the same way i do. They really do have some amazing workers there that know their stuff inside and out.

I loved my service at Tender Car. I purchased a groupon and I tell you what, they cleaned my car in way that makes me wonder how they did it? How did they get it so clean? It was amazing. They got out this terrible smell that has been in my car since I bought it. Pretty great. I would give them a #1 rating. Great job. I can't say enough about how well I was treated. Best service I've had in a while.

NEVER, NEVER again.
Shocked they're in the business of detailing cars & in a location with flocks of seagulls flying overhead!
Offered me an upgrade to their ""White Glove"" service (see their website for what that SHOULD include). Katie said they would have the overnight crew take care of the car. I gave them extra time & picked up car late afternoon.
When I arrived, I could already see I wasn't going to be happy. Overspray on undercarraige, wax wasn't fully buffed away, rubbing compound residue, door jams hadn't been touched neither had the engine, carpeting hadn't been fully cleaned or dyed, wheel wells dirty, seagull poop on hood.
As I was looking over car, before I could even say anything, one of the managers came out & said if I wasn't happy they would make it right, also making point to say they weren't happy with overnight person who did work & would be firing him. Why even tell me the car was ready then?
Due to the time/gas I spent & now having to come back (I live 30 miles away), they said they would give me $20 discount. I gave them an extra couple days to make it right, emailed & called to let them know when I would be picking it up to make sure it would be completely redone (as promised by Manager Joe).
I arrived to wax overspray on undercarriage as well as rubbing compound residue, engine & wax job better, but when I flipped back seats forward...they hadn't even vacuumed much less cleaned carpet. Waited for 30 minutes while they took care of. Joe said if I had any other problems to come back, I live 30 miles away...why not take care of it the first time? I just wanted to get out of there...sick of excuses, lack of professionalism, etc.
Arrived home took closer look, they hadn't vacuumed or cleaned the trunk area or floor mats either, water spots in many areas, windshield smeared...and to top it off, rear window motor isn't working & is making loud tapping noise.
I own a small business, come from a family of small business owners & if I/we ran them this way...we wouldn't have lasted a year much less combined total of 39 years in business.

Stay away from them. Went there with high hopes looking at reviews but ended up with a huge disappointment. Probably worst customer service I've ever experienced. Asked to bring the car between 7:00-7:30AM, got there at 7:15AM and apparently place doesn't open until 8:00AM. So drop the keys into key box and left. Asked coworker to drive me there so make sure they get all information they need from me got there about 8:05 signed papers and asked when can I pick it up he said it'll be ready between 5:30 and 6:00 I asked if it is possible they can finish it before he said it is possible give us a call around 4:00. I said I will but asked that if they are not done by 5:00 PM it is possible to pick it up next morning he said sure pick it up at 8:30. So gave them a call at 4:30 he said car is not ready and won't be ready until tomorrow 9:00AM because it was dropped off too late during the day (after 2PM). I told him it wasn't true he said that's what he sees on the paper work and there is nothing he can do (after hanging up on me twice). So apparently they are overwhelmed with groupon response and can't handle the volume they receive and trying easy wait out blaming customers. There are many friendly and cheaper places around the city so this place is definitely not in my list or anybody that I know anymore.

90% of my detail went well. Most of the inside of my car was gorgeous! However, they lost my 2 mo old steering wheel cover, there were water spots all over the inside back window, a ton of dirt in the center console, my car was running when I arrived so who knows how long that was going on, and my driver's side rear-view was nearly falling out of the housing. Joe @ the front desk was rude as hell, which leads me to believe that other Grouponers have been jerks. I called today to give my concerns and they offered me another wash, which would have been awesome if I lived in town. Then they found the cover (which was very beat up I was told) and if I wanted to buy one and the next time I was in the city I could get the money for that. What's so hard about just refunding me $20? I paid the upgraded Groupon package. If I got that kind of service after paying the full price I'd be mad as hell. So I just feel so-so about my experience - I'd be more satisfied if I lived in the city, I guess.

So here is my experience and history and you tell me? I am an educated person who normally does not complain. I compliment for good service only as we all know most companies do not hear about the good only the bad. I have never written any kind of review before on the internet.
Well to me this was not such good service and feel the need to vent. I purchased a Groupon certificate which it appears this place offers quite often for $75. I never had my car professionally detailed before. To give a history, five days before bringing my car in, I had a full diagnostic test done on my car at a very reputable auto service downtown that was recommended to me. Long story short, I needed my left front lower ball joint replaced and CV boot replaced. All good on that. They gave me a loaner car while they were doing this. Now I do have a 2000 Volkswagon Beetle that I have maintained very well by the way. The engine was made in Germany. A well built car.
So I take my car in here at the end of the week to get it detailed. I followed my sister in her car down the highway as she and I were going shopping in the four hours that it was suppose to take. NOTHING was wrong with my car going down 45 and I94. I have always been acutely aware of every funny noise.
So I go to pick up my car, I give them a $25 tip and asked if that was enough and they said more than enough and I get ready to leave. I start my car and the check engine light is on and it is making a horrible rattling noise and smells like gas. I go back in to tell them. Well they claimed they didn't do it. They did not touch the engine. I was also told that they get many cars in that are in bad shape. Okay fine. But really like I am going to prioritize getting my car detailed v.s taking care of something like this.!! Also I could not have driven my car down the highway like that!!!
Also, you are telling me my car was acting up when they drove it 10 feet into their garage? I doubt it. So if all this happened while they drove it back out, why did they not say a thing to me about it?????? If anything just to be curtious. So back at the front desk to reiterate on just what did they all do again??
Another guy did come out and perform a diagostic test with one of their electronic sensor machines. It read cylinder misfires on 1 and 4. He had a tendancy to talk down to me too. Kind of gruff.
I also asked for my $25 gratuity back and the young man at the front desk said we don't refund money back.
So I am back in my car in their lot calling the place I had my car serviced at and friends wondering what to do. By than the owner John comes out and taps on my window. He asks me how I am. He offered for me to follow him in his truck to where I had my car done. So I said okay. Once there though he hung around a bit and said something about bringing back a certificate. He was nice and friendly but I think if he was really concerned he should have offered something right there on the spot. Somewhere before we left he also said he could do if for less than they could. Hmmmmm.
So I had to have my ignition coil replaced, spark plugs and wires replaced, oil change again, all expensive stuff. Over $800. Also John never did come back to the garage shop with anything.
So did they do it or not?? We will never know. However, I sure think I should have gotton my gratuity back at the very least.

I was extremely pleased with the overall experience at Tender Car. I was reccommended by two friends who both had excellent experiences as well. I have a newer car but winter really took a toll on the interior. The exterior didn't look much better. My experience there from start to finish was classy and extremely well done. In todays economy, this business is thriving because of great customer service. My car looked awesome. I cannot say enough about how happy I was with their service. I visited several other detail shops before picking Tender Car. They are clearly the best choice.

I had to come back after the manager agreed that my wax job was a joke, wax splatters still on windows, dry wax around the edges every where and swirls were just as bad as when I brought it in etc. I thought for 148.00 $ I could get a premium wax job. Instead I got soaked and chumped with excuses and gray area double talk. He said that it was because the employee was new for instance the first time. Who is in charge of him ? The second time I got it back full of splatters and wax still half buffed out in places, I knew then that it was a butcher shop and I just need to go. They already cost me 148 bucks and 2 drop offs of my car. I had 2 choices, lose my mind and try to get blood from a rock, or lump it as a bad experience. I got to many bigger fish to fry in life, lucky for them.
