Overall

Bought a brand new, top of the line Carrier furnace with wifi thermostat. After a few months, the wifi thermostat lost connection with the furnace and didn't work properly. I called the owner of RJ and he said "no problem" and to let me know if it continued (we were waiting for a software update). After a few months, winter came and the thermostat still had issues. After it got cold, the furnace itself also developed an issue where water built up in the CARBON MONOXIDE exhaust so I called them again. This time, I asked them to reimburse me on a new thermostat and fix the issues. After two months and THREE VISITS and three different stories, they fixed the issues, didn't reimburse me for the thermostat, then sent me another bill for "their" time. If you think they stand behind their work, you will be wrong.

NO HEAT IN FEBRUARY FOR THREE DAYS

Yes, we've been without heat for 3 days in February because of RJ Heating - and we have a 16 month old baby. The serviceman from RJ came out on Monday afternoon and "fixed" our furnace...30 minutes after he left, it stopped working. I called the office and they put me through to their very rude after hours person and she said she'd have him come out on Tuesday "sometime after noon." I asked if he could call before he came and she flatly replied "No." He came out Tuesday at 3:30pm and fixed it again...an hour after he left, it stopped working AGAIN. I called the office and they said they were closed but would put me through to the after hours person WHY DO YOU HAVE AN AFTER HOURS PERSON ON STAFF IF YOU WON'T FIX YOUR CUSTOMER'S HEAT AFTER HOURS? The serviceman actually said to me "can you do the space heaters again today?" I was LIVID! 3 DAYS with NO HEAT in FEBRUARY with A BABY! I am sitting in my living room as I write this WITH a SPACE HEATER and it is 50 DEGREES! I can't even believe I'm writing this. If we weren't tenants in a duplex, I would have immediately called a different heating company after RJ failed to fix the furnace the first time and refused to come out to fix it that evening. My landlord is upset as well and will never use their services again (I've been referred to Doug at Joe Debelak). I am most definitely reporting RJ Heating to the BBB and every other social networking platform and review website out there.
