HUGE store with tons of comics, books, card games, action figures, etc. But few board games & no lead figures. And they don't have an area to play games except on special occasions.

I am new to the Milwaukee area...

I am new to the Milwaukee area and have been an avid collector for almost 20 years. I am not used to a comic shop being so well lit and clean while having a big selection. The staff was extremely friendly and was helpful in helping me start a "pull box" They were also the only store in the area that had the Lord of the Rings card game I was looking for.

Glad to have such a great new store to go to.

Poor customer service

I've been in Lost World of Wonders on a few occasions and rarely have I gotten satisfaction from their customer service. The employees are in general rude, lazy and do not make you feel welcome. They gather together talking of nonsense as you wait at the register to check out, and then act as if you're bothering them by disrupting their ever so important discussion on whether or not a lightsaber can cut adamantium.

They don't make eye contact or greet you as you enter the they are too involved in watching Family guy on their laptop and would be too troubled to move from their stool to actually help you look for something so the regular reply is " we don't have it" . Basically it's par for the course as far as comic book shop employees go.

I recommend NOT going to Lost World of Wonders. I know I won't be.

Awesome, pure awesome.

Being new to town I was told by some friends about Lost Worlds. I've never seen a selection of anime toys and manga so large in my entire life. I'm glad I moved to Milwaukee.
