We recently purchased a condo in Franklin this October 2019 and was in need of new carpeting. So, I searched the internet and found 4 carpet stores within a few miles of our home. After visiting all 4 stores there was only one store that I want to do business with and that was Best Carpet of Greenfield, WI. The store was super clean, well organized and have lots of samples of carpet to choose from. Nicole greeted us with a friendly smile and she was super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. She sincerely wanted to help you find your carpet and offered samples to take home and any information you would need to know about your choice. So, we picked a few samples and took them home only to discover that they looked different in our condo than at the store.
On our second visit to Best Carpet we met Sandy and Sam, the owner. Sandy is an expert in color and helped us to find the carpet to compliment the wall color and Sam gave us a super great price on a Tuftex carpet from the design collection. We purchase 125 YARDS and his price was the best price in the area. We couldn't have been more excited and happy about our purchase. It took two week for the carpet to arrive from California and it was worth the wait. It is beautiful. The install went perfect by Sam's own workers. They arrived on time and stayed on the job until they were done. Before the installing of the new carpet they used a high powered vacuum to sweep up all the debris on the floors after the removal of the old carpet and staples. The new carpet was then installed over an 8 lb pad of our choice and when it was done they vacuumed the entire carpet. A perfect job.
I would like to thank everyone at Best Carpet for their help in the selection, the installation of our carpet and Sam for the great price. A job well done. We couldn't be happier with our purchase from Best Carpet.

We have been dealing with Best Carpets and Sam the salesman for years. Between our church, my home and another person at our church with rental property we have never had any problems and been very satisfied with the work and the prices. That's why we keep coming back to them. We have had carpet, tile, hardwood floor and linoleum done by them and all have been installed by excellent workman.
I did read the other review and call the store about it as we were just getting another bid for carpet and wanted to know if things had changed. It seems the reviewer left out a few details. The reviewer didn't mention was that when this delay happened was last fall when there was bad weather - ice storms etc. down south and the carpet mill stopped all their trucks so it was late coming in and their store was not notified. They made up for it by coming the following day and getting two crews in and got several days work done in one day, moving the furniture etc for free and she seemed happy. This review was written several months after the installation. You might notice she has not complaints with the install job.
Her poor review prompted me to write this one. Again, we've had multiple contacts with them and always been pleased. If you look at the other reviews on yahoo, you will find her's was the only negative one out of all those written. I hope you’ll give them a try and I’m sure you’ll be pleased with the results.

Sam, my salesperson was very personable and helpful. However, as soon as my order was placed that's when the customer service ended.
I received a call that my carpet was in and ready for installation. I set up an appointment about 2 weeks out. On the day of my scheduled appointment the installers show up an hour late only to tell my that my carpet is not in, and is supposedly stuck on some truck in Illinois. I don't know what the phone call was for 2 weeks prior telling me that my carpet was ""in"". This was no little job either. We had our entire home (2900 sq. ft) done. So one can imagine what a task it was moving furniture around the day before to prepare for this.
Not only did Best Carpet not call that morning to explain the situation, they never called. I had to repeatedly call them to get some type of response. The installers were very good, but spoke very little English. I felt it was very poor public relations on Best Carpet's part not to even call me to explain.
After everything got worked out and the carpet was installed the next day (after having taken a day off work that I wouldn't have had to), we noticed some significant scratches and dents in our closet doors.
Best said they would have a wood specialist contact us to set up a repair appointment. That was in October. I'm still waiting for that call.
On top of it all, I don't even think I got the carpet I ordered.
