I wish I could rate at a - 100000 star. Cheri Lennix and every at Asset Development are sorry excuses for human beings.
You get one chance at life and you choose to pick a job and an attitude where everyone hates you? Did they seriously say to themselves, growing up, that they wanted to be hated by many people? Because they succeeded.
I paid lot rent for a trailer to this company for 10 years and when I sold my trailer to someone else and called to try putting a stop on the water so I wouldn't continue to get billed, no one returns my call. They had no problem taking my money for 10 years but when I need to stop service because I no longer live there, no one will return my calls.
I've been calling them for 3 days now and have left several messages and when I do get a hold of a real person, they tell me that they can't help me or "that's not my department."
I also hated that when I would call, usually if a person does answer, they say "HOLD PLEASE" immediately after picking up the phone and then they place you on hold immediately before you even have a chance to say anything. This is very unprofessional and rude.
When I was able to reach someone and explain my issue that I have moved, they just kept saying "that's not my department" and offered to give me the phone number to the person I needed to speak with and I said "I already have their number, they just won't return my calls." and she said "ok then" and hung up on me.
This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I can't wait to be done with them so that I never have to deal with them again. If you have to deal with this company, I suggest setting your lot rent up on automatic payments so that you don't have to deal with the unprofessional, unsympathetic, rude employees that answer the phones.
We currently deal with them, paying off the trailer we live in. We have been harassed multiple times by the manager of the Evergreen estates trailer park. We have gotten notices for many things, that other people have not. We were also robbed 3 times with everyone say that they never saw anything though people drive past our house at all hours of the night. We have also been threatened by the manager, as well as she has threatened our families. Our home was sold in shambles, in a condition that no one should have to live in, but due to unfavorable situations, it was our make due home. We have tried calling the company and dealt with a woman who was very rude. She would not listen, argued and hung up on us. I never have and never will suggest this place or the company to anyone.
Not a place you want to put your home. ANY WHERE they own. Rude unprofessional employees, outrageous lot rent for what you get. You own your own home and are not able to have your children come and stay for a month without permission. Need to pay for a dog and it is in your own home. Can't put up an antenna to get FREE television (must have a contract with the cable companies) I have been her 24 years...it wasn't always owned by Asset Dev. It has gone down hill fast with them owning it. It use to be a beautiful community. Now the empty lots out number the homes here. Sad.
If you rent from these people and I mean something happens and you are late once or have a situation, Cheri Lennix is very rude. She does not want to hear one word or anything you have to say. Very unsympathetic and hard to work with. Even hard to talk to without her giving an attitude. How she is still working this position is beyond me because she has the worst work ethic and manners for the position. My advice - try not to have to deal with her. They raise the rent at our trailer park $10 at least every year and there have been no repairs to the road or anything here. They invest little to nothing and then want to charge an arm and a leg!
This company is the most unreal place to deal with. They sell houses full of mold and cover the issues. They also pull out trailers with known meth labs and pull them into other parks where they are not aware of the issue. They demand people to not tell others that they are reselling these homes with meth labs and Jack the prices and risk their workers and people's health. They will screw you every chance they get. Evict you when you have proof you paid or received a free month lot rent with your purchase because they can't keep help no one knows what's going on they lose their paper work and all! They are rude and disrespectful if you have to call for anything!
I lived here fir about 12 years. They suck and play favors. They let a druggie live there and his moms the court manager niw. I get eviction every month eveb tho I have the whole month to get it in. They charge a $40 late fee and for what???they suck and dont fix anything or have u do all the work to the property. Why are we reliable for the mainrance of yard and we pay rent
Eden Manor Hill, I love the majority of the neighbors here. Someone says this place is not family friendly then why does the managers do Santa and a family picnic yearly? I do love this place for our family and the place is what you make it. As far as I can tell if you pay your rent on time, be friendly to others, respect managers and follow your lease you won't have any problems. Nancy and Neil are awesome managers and I wouldn't want anyone else doing their job. They have their hands full and do a wonderful job. The only thing I would love is to have a Yellow line along one side of the road that is a biking/walking safe place for kids as I worry about many of the people driving to fast through here and some tenants yelling at kids for not getting out of the way. There is no side walk so i think a designated space would be great or a side walk around our playground field for the kiddos to run, ride bike etc on. It would be nice! Possibly a basketball hoop also to get rid of the ghetto looking ones in front of homes. One kids ball hit my van while I was coming home once. I would and have suggested to many people to move in here. For people complaining about the rate going up......yes but that's everywhere, and I would gladly pay about $100 more here a month than some of the trashy places I have seen elsewhere.

asset is an unbelievable sorry excuse for a company. they r rude n dont care. i have never rented from such slumlords. i wud never tell anyone to live in one of their trailer parks. i am trying to sell my trailer. if i can not get it sold i am gonna give asset my trailer. that is how much i want away from this company. i hope they go belly up. i wish the state wud come in n condem this place. i wud sit here n applaud n laugh in assets face. that is what they deserve

We have lived in a mobile home park, owned by Asset, for about 7 years now. They are slumlords! I just got off the phone with some bi*ch, who was sooo rude, that I wish it were possible to hit someone through the phone! We were hit with a snow storm last night. It is now 10:30 in the morning, and I am still watching people try to get un-stuck, out in the 10"" of slush, covering our streets! Last winter, the snow plow guys stopped plowing because Asset didn't pay the plow bill. Now, we have ANOTHER new manager (4th one) and supposedly her husband and his brother are now the plow guys. They live here! The only thing I can come up with is, Asset didn't pay them, either! This is just ONE of the several complaints I have about Asset. I asked Amy (the incredibly rude bi*ch) if she has ever read the reviews about Asset. She said yes. I asked her how it made her feel to know she was working for a company that so many people thought was horrible. She said, ""It makes me feel nothing."" She knew why I was calling.... She was telling me to ""simmer down"" before I was even steamed up! Fu*king C*nt!!!! I HATE THIS COMPANY! I WISH I COULD AFFORD TO MOVE THE HELL OUT OF THIS DAMNED COURT!

Don't Do Business with Asset Development or Source One.
Asset Development has been one of the worst business experiences I have had ever. First of all at headquarters; the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
Every-time they have an inter-action it's under threat or fine!!! Why???
Customer Service is disgracefully lacking. Anything they do that is positive is by accident, or to keep the local Ordinance Violations from going to court. When they
are threatened with violations & fines, then and only then do they act.
Asset Development is focused on making a buck, and nothing more. If you rock-the-boat watch out;chances are you will be evicted.- especially if you have a legit complaint!!!
Asset Development turns a blind-eye to garbage in the park, drug-dealing, unlicensed pets, too many pets, vandalism, non-working fire extinguishers, missing fire extinguishers, Lean-too's with electrical violations, lean-too's with construction violations, un-registered vehicles, booming car stereos at all hours of the day and night. A haven for illegal-aliens!!! In a 12 X 60 Mobile Home it isn't' uncommon to see 8 or more people residing under one roof... noisey as h*&%; carying on at all hours of the day. Harbor Lights is often over-run with Ferrell cats.
Asset Development will not keep trees trimmed properly, and insists(verbally) that if push them to make an expensive tree trimming or other park improvement in no uncertain terms I was told that ""Head Quarters"" will find a way to evict me. I have been a resident in good standing over 11 years.
Does this seem like American business practices to you???

Asset Development reps have insisted that my vehicles are junk because they are over ten years old. I am on disability and my cars run, I can't afford new ones. Finally the manager got dismissed or left, then we had no manager for several months.
The new manager as in the past--- was not forthcoming with the contact address and phone number- he's like Casper the Ghost. Manager in name only.
Milwaukee Head Office is in the habit of treating long-term regular-paying tenants very poorly- they never return phone calls to Milwaukee for park concerns. EVER!!!!
Not only have I seen a decline in the overall development- I have seen 11 or more managers come and go. Most of them were nice, but ineffectual. Head-Quarters is the main problem. Lack of concern is the other.
Asset Development has no common sense--- they pu the almight dollar before anything else.
I have read the other comments written here, and I am in agreement. The same BS is going on the Harbor Lights- Menasha, Wisconsin. I wish it were the opposite, the first three years were great!
We are looking to move the H*&^ out of this place, and make a major upgrade. Do yourself a favor, don't move to Harbor Lights- it's no longer a nice place and it isn't safe anymore--Do youself a favor- save your money- spare yourself the aggrivation.
Don't do business with Asset Development anywhere- they stink!

I have recently had the bad experience with dealing with asset development. As a management company they are dishonest and rude. If you do not pick up trash or clear the roads when it is supposed to be done that is a breach of contract so who the hell are they to charge lot rent when they don't fulfill their obligation. ALSO THEY ARE WORKING WITH OTHER COMPANIES WHICH I BELIEVE IS ALL OWNED BY THE SAME ENTITY TO SELL TRAILER HOMES. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY COVER UP MOLD ISSUES AND RESELL THE HOME. WHICH IS NEGLIGENCE. I PLAN ON BEING A THORN IN THEIR SIDE UNTIL THEY FOLD. DAMN CROOKS THEY ARE AND SHERRI IS THE MOST DISHONEST PERSON I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME. CAREFUL THEY WILL APPLY YOUR MORTGAGE THAT IS SUPPOSED TO GO TO YOUR HOME AND APPLY IT TO LOT RENT AND THEN FORECLOSE ON YOU. SEE CLEARPOINT CAPITAL WHICH SHERRI ALSO RUNS. I PLAN ON TAKING A PERSONAL INTREST IN THESE CROOKS AND EXPOSING THEM.

I Live in the willow grove trailer court in spencer, wi. I lived here for almost 7 years. this place is a nightmare. Theres alot of favorites here and they let people get away with not paying extra for dogs. I have to pay $40 for my two dogs but the neighbors dont pay anything. When i told them about this, all they say is we will look into it. I get an eviction notice every month. I know the rent is due the 1st of the month but if not there, they are sending me an eviction notice. I talked to an lawyer about this and was told I have the whole month to get it in. They do charge a $40 late fee. They don't seem to understand this. When you call them, they get smart and think they know it all;Im sick of the favorites around here. Everyone should be treated the same way. Plus, the eviction thing needs to stop. No wonder they filed for bankruptcy.

i live in Rockvale which asset development owns. i have to say i have been here a few years and love it. as all parks and businesses thier have been some ups and downs. the managment here though is great. they have added events for us all to attend in the past couple years. My kids love the 4th of july and the national night out in august. i have always been treated fairly and with respect. thier have been a few times i havent agreed with the managment on things but i understand why it was done. one t hing people forget is that yes you own your home but not the land and you are in a sence renters.as with all businesses in this economic times they seem to have thier ups and downs as well i'm not saying this is a perfect company by anymeans but it's no slum lord like i have had in the past. would i recommend others to live here? ABSOLUTLY! it's a friendly safe place to raise my kids. i just wish they had more family activities for us all to enjoy.

I dont even want to get into the general maintiance of the GREENLEAF ACRES Park. We have got weeds that are up to 5feet tall so i am turning that issue over to the county for it to be inforced with the other ordiance violations!!!!!

The management at Bridgeview Gardens sucks. When you call them to ask where you property lines are located, they will not answer and if you keep pursuing them, they will threaten to evict you. The parks are not maintained. In the 17 years I have lived here, the driveways have never been repaved - they say it's our responsibility, but it's their property. I maintain my property well and repave my driveway myself yet nobody else cares to keep theirs up. The rules in the lease are not enforced and mean nothing to the company. They pick their favorites and you don't dare get on their bad side or they threaten you.
This park is going down the drain. There are more vacant lots and homes for sale than there were when I first moved in. The lot rent increases each year and we are paying more than all other mobile home parks in the area. Brenda does not seem to know the guidelines of the lease. She is dishonest and will lie to the company if you have problems. Amy from Milwaukee is of no help either.
I do not recommend this park to anyone. If you're considering moving here, change your mind very quickly. People who live here would love to sell their homes but nobody's buying because the lot rent is too high and the park is in poor condition.

This is the worst company I have ever worked with! They play favorites with the residents. They raise the lot rent $10 every year and they do nothing more for the residents that live there! One family purchased a trailer from Home Source One which the same as Asset Development, and the carport fell apart on top of the residents car! They sell home that have broken water heaters and then refuse to fix them. They do not pay any of the vendors that work for them on time. They are so bad that Jake's gas station next door told them not to come back at all! I do not think it is ran well and I would not want another family to get cheated out of the money they worked hard to earn!

The roads in this park (Eden) need serious attention. For what we pay for lot rent there is so little for the kids and what is here is not kept up and in poor condition. I wish we had more community/family minded management. I've dealt with Kristen in the past and she is a piece of work. I understand she has a job to do, but she could certainly show some empathy, especially to those who are not chronically late with their lot rent. I would move, but there are soooo many mobile homes empty and for sale here already I don't think we stand a chance of selling.

i spent a short time with a friend while i was there, there was no garbage pick up. he said the rent keeps going up and nothing to show for it. it is not the managers fault, he is in the middle. the way it looks to me is they want your money but don't do any thing to justify the raise in rent. i had thought about purchasing a home there but quickly changed my mind. after reading other reviews it is satisfying to know that this community is not the only one that is suffering at the hands of the money hungry and rude people at this company. This kristin must be a real piece of work. Quit threatening the residents. there has to be a heart in there somewhere. oh by the way will the water be shut off next.

If you want to be treated like a worthless piece of trash, give them a call and talk to Kristyn. She has absolutely no empathy for you as a person. All they want is what they can squeeze out of you. They should all be caring rifles because we are all prisoners here. They keep raising the lot rents each year, making it more difficult to get rid of your home. I have been here 9 years and have NEVER missed a payment. I have had some unexpected finacial problems this month and asked if I could pay my rent a couple weeks late. She said yes but you will be assessed a $40 late charge. I mentioned that I am really have a tough time right now and the extra $40 would really hurt me now. She could have cared less. She said that is the policy and thats the way it is. I never wish bad on anyone, but this B**** needs to have some real problem in her life and see how it feels. I can't wait to get the h*** out of here and I will not look back.
