Good selection. Gots what i needed from this store. I did not get the sales BS that is common at these stores. I was not sold stuff I did not need. I have experience with guns, so I don't know about the instruction, but from what i see it looks like a top place to purchase and learn from.

Frank Tamel's review of us on Facebook is -- Hey, Guys. I called Shorty's Gun Store in West Allis to ask about gunsmithing and they referred me to Steve at LnL Gunworks. Steve did an excellent trigger job and front sight replacement on my Ruger SP101. Even though he ran into some trouble due to a poorly drilled pin hole by the Ruger factory and spent a lot of extra time dealing with that issue in replacing the front sight, he stayed within his quote. Also he got the gun back to me in just a couple of days. I highly recommend LnL Gunworks for any gun repair issues you may encounter. LnL is a new business, but Steve has over 20 years' experience as a gunsmith hobbyist. He was also an munitions expert in the Navy, so he knows his stuff. I was very pleased with Shorty's. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the door and was immediately helped with what I needed. Great prices and I would highly recommend it.
My girlfriend and I took Shorty's concealed carry course at the House of Harley-Davidson on Feb 11, 2016. The class was great and covered more than was required. Even though he had a very full class, he and his staff still took the time to explain how to handle many styles of handguns on a one-on-one basis hank you Shorty! Overall, a great experience! I recommend the class to anyone who is thinking of getting your concealed carry permit.
he nice and help full and will get any thing you need or he will help you out fixer666
This guy is very friendly but he's overworked and under stress sometimes. He has some of the best prices in the area.As someone else noted,he's near a school, so what? he doesn't sell guns to kids. This was a strawman argument when he got his license. He doesn't suffer fools gladly but will teach you if you listen. If he doesn't have it in stock, he will order it for you.
Shoulda known better when he told me it would be a minimum of $80, cash only. All that I needed was to have a broken tap removed. He called an hour after I dropped off the gun and said it was finished. He runs his business like he's doing a side job Cash only should have been a red flag. Getting bent over once was enough for me. From now on I will only take my guns to a reputable gunsmith, Potter's Gunsmith. He did three times the work for half the price. Save your money, don't go to Shorty's!
