Best corned beef in Milwaukee. I also enjoy their chopped liver and cabbage borscht. Their matzah ball soup looked pretty good too.

3 DAYS IN A ROW I WENT FOR LUNCH AND THEY WERE NOT READY TO SERVE. WON'T BE GOING BACK AGAIN IT IS SAD IT IS THE ONLY ONE IN THE COURTHOUSE
I Love everything in the deli section but I would avoid things like the nut roll and poppy seed roll. Both times I have tried it, it was very dried out. Other then that everything else is great.
called to book a catering event asked for the owner and they hung up in my face guess they wont be getting my business how rude.
Nice place to have - convenient location esp,as a spot to refuel after shopping in Shorewood. The food is ok, not great, not bad - just decent. The ice cream is consistently too soft (like almost soft serve) and that needs to change. Went a few times, most recently this past Thursday. The cashier was talking to a co worker in the back (she was near the register) as I stood in front of the ice cream area , totally well in her sight and waited for her to acknowledge me. Took over five minutes- then she snapped 'Can you come over here then?' when i asked to order a sub to go. Sorry! didn't know it was such an issue ! Very terse service, she seemed miserable even when we tried to make pleasant conversation. And the place had 2 other people so not sure what the excuse was there. As a result we won't be returning; for mediocre food , bad service well, Shorewood has too many other places that delivers better on both fronts. I will say it was clean at least. It has potential
I travel a lot. I always look for a good Polish store when I travel. A&J has a great selection of Polish candies, foods and alcohol. On top of that they also have great deli meats.
Moved to California almost 3 years ago and missed them terribly! Came back to visit Milwaukee recently and called them and ask them if they could freeze some long johns and angel food cake. Believe it or not they all survived in my suitcase in airplane ride back to California with a stop in Denver. My husband was so surprised and excited. They tasted like they had never been frozen. They were so delicious. Wish someone would open a bakery out here or they would move out here to Southern California!
We use Schultz for business meetings. They are truly wonderful! Nothing's too much! Not only is the food terrific and priced very competitively, I've called in a pinch or have had to ask to add something 30 min. before. They've always come through. Thank you so much Tony, Julie and Casey!!!Denise Cronk
This came up under a search for coffee. It's not a coffee place - but it is a great restaurant. Lots of natural sunlight, artwork that changes regularly, comfortable seating, friendly waitstaff. The food is very healthy and it also tastes great. Vegetarians will love the place - and so will thier meat eating friends. If you're a healthy hippie, or just enjoy pretending to be one on the weekends, you'll enjoy this restaurant and attached store.
