I had gone to this place a year ago, as a treat to myself for my birthday, on a referral. At the time, it was called Toni & Guy. John the ( a magnificent wonderful genius of a hair stylist) did my hair a year ago and did the most amazing job. Never in my life had I felt more beautiful. My hair had definition and bounce ... literally, a style straight out of a glamor magazine ... my fiance couldn't keep his hands off me :) I tried to find him ( John) again this year and had no luck ... they'd changed names and I got ZERO help from the people at Mayfair mall ... so I settled ... still wanted a hair cut ... so I went to Mr. Dino's in Mayfair Mall ... HUGE MISTAKE ... long story short, they butchered my hair and gave me THE MOST HIDEOUS ....UNEVEN MULLET ever. It was awful ... I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to go there. Not only did I have an 80's Achy Brakey Heart Billy Ray Cyrus hair cut ... it had quite obvious gaps ... and uneven "layered" spots and patches... just horrible, I should've known it was going to be bad based on the stylists own hair cut/ style ... yikes. SO, I scoured the mall praying I'd find SOME information on where John from Toni&Guy might have gone.... to my pleasant and joyful surprise he was still there as well as the salon, only under a different name ( Blueprint Salon). Long story short ... he was my savior. He fixed my jacked up hair and made me look BEAUTIFUL. He truly is an artist. Never again will I trust anyone else to my hair except for him ... if he's not available ... although I don't have the personal experience ... from what I saw of the other girls that work there ... they're all EXTREMELY talented. The girl sitting next to me got the CUTEST cut and dye I'd ever seen. But John ... AMAZING! Some people are stylist ... he's an artist. I Love you John, you truly are amazing. You sir, are blessed Forever your loyal client, DM ... I would follow him anywhere.

I have just come home from a wonderful visit to Salon Blueprint. Normally i would not write reviews, positive or negative, but in this case i felt it necessary. From the moment I stepped in, the receptionist was so attentive to my needs, due to the fact that I had just had an appointment screwed up by someone at another salon in Mayfair Mall, she calmed me down and offered me a beverage and a seat so that i could vent. I was booked an appointment with John Johnson, the owner at Salon Blueprint, who was sympathetic to my situation and took me to an entire new world in hairdressing. After my relaxing scalp massage and shampoo, my thoughts of the terrible customer service at the other salon drifted from my thoughts. The cut itself was impecable as was the style and took about an hour and fifteen minutes. John explained step by step what he was doing and the products he was using to assure me that it would end up to be wonderful. I was shown three different ways to style my hair, which has never happened to me. Most of the time the stylists just want me out of the chair to move on to the next client. The products used were amazing Davines, a product line from Italy, love it love it love it. Upon checkout, the receptionist was so helpful yet again, that if finances would allow, i would be back weekly for a blow dry. Salon Blueprint has myself, my family and my friends as clients for life.
I have been going to L'Occitane in Mayfair Mall for about a year now. I am certain I do not need to mention so much as how much quality their products hold. But I will...their products, which are a bit more expensive than say if you went to a drug store or alike, are completely worth every cent you put into them. They not only outlast any other product you would have bought cheaper at another store, their aroma, their quality, and their meaning are all a reason to buy them. Which keeps me coming back. But what really drove to me to keep me coming back to the Mayfair Mall Store was their excellence in customer service. Every time I enter, they know who I am, what products I like, what I don't like, what I might like to try, what is new that I might like, they have thoroughly and thoughtfully explained each product to me, with demonstrations if I do not understand, as a lot of L'Occitane is so unique, they have always been there with a bright and warm smile, and never let me down with what I have purchased. I really appreciate that. I would recommend this store to anyone!

Kim has costumed 6+ musicals for theater groups that I choreograph for. She has always provided the best quality costumes at the best price. In fact, I just called her last night to get some last minute items for a show, and she not only had them in stock, she had a wide variety to choose from. She is pleasant and professional, in addition to being extremely knowledgeable and creative. I HIGHLY recommend using her for costumes, either for fun/parties, or for performances!
I have rented from Kim's Costumes when directing shows for West Allis Players. She has always worked hard for us and worked within our budgets. We did "The King and I" last year and we were happy with her costumes.
We are open 6 days a week, and located at 2731 w Forest Home 414-383-9777
