Quiet area. Quiet apartments. Cheap rent. Great garage space, basement space and I generally enjoy the layout of the apartment. The maintenance is just awful though. Fredonia has the LAZIEST maintenance guy and he definitely sucks at what he does. He complains more than he fixes. In fact...he doesn't really fix anything. He sucks at his job and I have already given up on using him and will just fix issues in the apartment myself. Just awful. Just awful.
This agent ordered title insurance from a very expensive source without asking me first. Took a very long time to find a buyer and was very poor at communication.
I wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone. Rent is cheap, which was why I moved here, (along with one other adult.) But I guess you get what you pay for. They are very unprofessional. They come and go from the office as they please, and never post their hours. They are terrible with repairs. When we first came to look at the apartment, the ceiling light and fan was broken. They told us they would fix it before we moved in, a month later, they still haven't. Even after bringing it to their attention again. At this point, I dont think they ever will. They will also lie to you for money. They told us (over the phone) our parking space would be space 4. Sometime later, they have our car towed, claimig we were in the wrong spot. They told us over the phone on purpose so there would be no written record of it. They told us the fee would be $250, but it ended up being $378 even though we picked it up on the same day. Oh yeah, and you're not suppost to smoke in these apartments, but plan on the hallways smelling like cigarrette smoke anyway. We also had to buy a water filter because when we first moved here, my husband saw the water come out slightly yellow. The landlord is also extremly rude, I tried talking to her about these issues, and she walked to her car and slammed the door while I was mid- sentence. No one should be treated with that kind of disrespect. We will hopefully be moving soon, I would give this zero stars if possible.
We are renting a unit at 43rd/Howard. It is beautiful, but the walls are so thin you can hear the people next door conversations, as well as cooking odors. So you know there is no privacy. We were told it is quiet, but the unit next to us has 3 small children so you can imagine the noise, and crying baby. Our main objective was quiet, so this is FAR from that. Will not be renewing our lease.
No one at Feldman ever answers the phone. It's very difficult to get in contact with them. They love to charge additional fees. They don't update or maintain their apartments well. I lived at Walnut Ridge and the place really needs some care. Everything but the kitchen floor is outdated. The cupboards don't even close. Trying to get someone to come and do maintenance was always a hassle. And the final straw that broke the camel's back is getting your security deposit back. Feldman has caused far too much stress in my life, so I recommend avoiding any of the buildings they own.
Part 1I have been living in my home for almost eight years; Mark Rampike the owner bought this property from the bank two years ago. Although our relationship started off great, after Mark purchased this house he did repaint the house and pulled up the carpet. It was needed, I have been living here for five years. But he acts like he did me a favor and I should forever be in his debt for taking care of his property. But that's all he has done, while renting this home I have done so much of my repairs. I replaced the sliding garage door and paid for repairs. I have come out of $1000 easily doing repairs while the bank had it. I also worked with energy assistance, and this house received a new furnace, hot water tank, central air serviced and fixed, all because of my children's asthma and my income not the owner's or the property management company.(look at the thanks I get), very ungrateful & unappreciative all of this work was done in October 2014.
I've worked with Realty Dynamics on a countless number of real estate transactions thru the eyes of a buyer, an agent and a lender. I have the utmost respect for Ben Gohlke and his entire team. If you're looking to buy, sell or rent in the Metro Milwaukee area, Realty Dynamics should absolutely be your first call.
Management doesn't care about tenents. Their in the business of collecting money and supplying the bare minimum required by state regulations. What property management state is to be included in rent is false advertisement, and will be extremely rude when asked about specifics.
They were supposed to do walkthrough in the house a couple months ago when i moved in and never has. The house is not worth 1100 a month after living in it a while. The windows have issues. Issues with outlets and plumbing. I have fixed items on my own. I dont usually complain but for the money everything should work and be safe then i can add my own personal touches.the guy who fixes things called me once and i called him back and left medsage and no reply. Nicole said if there are any issues fill repair form online, but its so many things why cant they just come check. One form for each repair is crazy. All they want is their money.
I went to every local realtors' open houses before i decided to list with Powers Realty. Gretchen and Suzanne were by far the most welcoming and helpful. They were straight forward about what buyers want in Shorewood and helped me with what I needed to do to get my house to that point. I decided to take their advice and I spent $2,300. in refinishing floors, painting, cleaning, etc. They did a great job at staging my house and even cleaned areas I missed. I was impressed by the amount of time they dedicated. They were very professional and had a Powers agent present at every showing. They sold my house in three weeks for more than I thought they could. They charged the same as other realtors who do not include staging. I would use them again.
