I went in for a delicate flower tattoo under my collarbone and I had a great experience. I was immediately greeted by Sheri and she was super helpful and nice. The shop was super clean and cute. My tattoo artist was Walt and I couldn't recommend him enough. He was able to do exactly what I wanted and I know it required a lot of talent because the flower I wanted had such fine detail. He first drew a stencil of a picture I brought in and his drawing looked better than the picture I brought in. Before doing my tattoo he made sure it was exactly what I wanted and in the right place and made me feel comfortable the whole time. My tattoo turned out amazing. The lines are so delicate and the shading in the small flowers is beautiful. Walt is amazing! 10 out of 10 -would recommend this place!
Hands down best artist in town!! Did an excellent piece for my children! Very clean and professional!! You won't be disappointed!!!
In response to RaelynFaith's review...The covering of a tattoo with paper toweling - just after receiving a tattoo, is a standard procedure, one that we have good reasons for doing so. This allows the tattoo to be covered/protected for an hour or two, during healing, but ALSO allows for the tattoo to breathe. The paper covering is NOT supposed to remain on the tattoo beyond an hour or two, it is just a temporary dressing, nothing more. And in regards to your comment that "the guys seemed high as the big blue sky"... We pride ourselves on our drug-free environment, and would never allow an artist to tattoo a client under the influence, of any substance. We are a professional tattoo studio, and operate our business in the same manner.-Greg Foster, owner of Custom Tattoo
I came to Frank to fix my VCH piercing after a different piercer botched it. He was very laid back and personable, shook my hand, was very clean and sterile about things, and even left the room so I could get undressed. He was extremely professional and I was able to be comfortable rather than awkward. He was able to fix the barbell (it went through an area it never should have) without me having to lose the piercing altogether. He was just so incredibly great, and very thorough and knowledgeable about answering all my questions. I will be trusting him with all my future piercing needs. I only wish I found him sooner.
My brother has been getting work done by Eric B years before Eric's move to Cornersone Tattoo. The progress in skill, customer relationship, trust, and loyalty is evident on my brother's arm as he is working towards a Pink Floyd/The Wall themed sleeve. As my brother was getting his latest tattoo by Eric at his new spot at Cornertone, I was so impressed and jealous that I put down my hand and let him tattoo me that day. Very happy with the results and will go back for more!
My search for a permanent go to for future ink stopped today. I have 14 tattoos done be various people at different locations but never have I been so thoroughly impressed as I am with the work done today by Spence....He is not only a very talented artist but he is personable and funny as hell !! If you are looking for beautifully detailed work at a surprisingly reasonable price then I wholeheartedly recommend Zoes Vicious Circle in Hales Corners. ....Ask for Spence.
On vacation from St. Paul MN, my husband and I wanted to get matching tattoos to symbolize our kids birthday's and our 5 year anniversary. We looked up tattoo shops in the area and picked out Ink Hogs. We walked in without an appointment and we were helped out right away. Every tattoo artist in the shop was very nice, excellent customer service and made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates the art of tattoo.
I got an eagle tattoo on my arm about 8 years ago when i was in the Marine Corps. Over the years the tattoo faded. I went to Ink 101 to get it redone. All I can say is WOW. I liked my tattoo before, but now I LOVE it! Thanks guys for everything! The added detail looks amazing! I've gotten so many compliments on it already and its only been one day. Ill never go to another tattoo shop.
Kyle Cook's work is impressive and his pursuit of perfection is admirable. His table side manner over the span of four hours was insightful and never a bore, and he even grabbed some interesting books about Japanese myths and history for my girlfriend to peruse. He definitely didn't overcharge for his exceptional work, and I will be coming back for more.
Eric was the artist who did my first tattoo several months ago, and I am very pleased with it! I am super happy with the precision and overall quality of my tattoo. Also, Eric is super chill and the overall atmosphere of the place was great. I highly recommend Cornerstone Tattoo, should you find yourself in Milwaukee!
I have been here once and it was a great experience. Everyone is extremely nice and patient. I have been to three other tattoo places and this one is by far my favorite. I was able to take my time in choosing a tattoo and making it more original. I definitely will return!
