Katz Properties has taken great strides to improve its customer-service and building quality. I've seen this with my own eyes at JVT. They have made significant improvements in the office and maintenance staff. I am extremely satisfied with my experiences with Katz Properties and would certainly recommend renting from them!
wonderful management, complete professionalism
Lived at the Katz properties on 3575 Oakland. I Lived in one of the newly renovated units. The apartment itself is a little outdated but the unit on the inside is kept nice and clean. Stevie Drexler, the building manager was very nice. She kept the apartment clean and fresh and helped with any problems we had while living there. She kept track of packages and notified me if I had a packages in the lobby. She was very helpful on the move out and supplied cleaning supplies.
I lived there in the 90's at the Porticos in Fox Point for 11 years. It was completely upgraded when Katz took over. The place was clean. It was safe and I had no problems.
I have lived in Prospect Towers for one year after living in homes for the last 30 years. I was a bit apprehensive to return to apartment dwelling, but it has been a GREAT experience for me. The staff is responsive, pleasant and professional. The apartments seem sound proof - I rarely hear my neighbors. The fitness room is great and the pool and deck just lovely. Parking is a plus too. I couldn't be happier and am looking forward to living on the lake with my beautiful view again this year! Thanks!
These people are complete and utter trash. Leah is one of the biggest most unprofessional biggest C*nts I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with. Horrible attitudes and service. Their only purpose is to exploit people and take their money..DO NOT EVER MAKE THE MISTAKE OF USING THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT!
If i could give them negative stars, I would. This is THE WORST property management company I have ever dealt with. The unprofessionalism in this establishment is UNREAL! They argue with you, yell over you, and speak in the most condenscending and rude ways, all while you remain nice and calm. I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with Leah, she is the rudest most incompetent person I have ever dealt with claiming to be a professional. The manager, Andrea, is also very rude and snappy. On top of their attitude, they don't get anything done! I have receieved nothing but empty promises in reguards to recieving calls back and maintenance requests. To simply put it, they seem to not care and to hate their jobs, making everything as difficult as possible. They put my boyfriend and I through hell and back and caused an insane amount of stress due to their incompitence. I would not recommend anyone to rent properties from this company, unless you'd like to have children in charge of your home and security deposit.
Easily the worst company I have ever rented from. Don't go through them. Extremely unfriendly office manager and unhelpful property managers. Unprofessional to say the least.

RUN...I repeat RUN!!! Do not Walk RUN, away from this property management company!!! My daughter and her roommate had to stay in their apartment for 5 day without heat!!! THIS IS WISCONSIN!!! I called the state and they went right out there and told them they would be fined if their apartment was not at least 68 degrees. He told them to fix it and all of the other issues he documented immediately!!! They told him they would be right out, and they came out a replaced a battery in the thermostat, and that was not the issue. They did not take care of the long list of things they had been asked to do by my daughter and roommate for 2 months. I took pictures of the apartment 2 weeks after they moved in. Message me and I would love to share them with you. The staff is the worst staff ever. I have been in the Property Management for almost 20 years and I know how residents are supposed to be treated. These people were the rudeness I have ever encountered in my 20 plus years in the business. Amanda the manager’s boss told me that no one had put in a work order, but my daughter emailed me each work order with dates and times that she sent directly to AMANDA!! IT took over 5 hours for my daughter to get a copy of the requested lease once the State asked for it. If I could give it negative stars I would!!!! AS OF RIGHT NOW THEY STILL HAVE NO HEAT!!!! These pictures were taken 2 weeks after my daughter moved in. She has been there since July. They were promised a deep clean and that the walls would be fixed. The State had to intervene and still her her heat does not work and her apartment looks like a flob house. The apartment was not ready when they were told they could move in. They only moved in because they had given notice at their previous place and had to be out that day.
