So my kids was attending the daycare. 9-29-17 i went in the daycare at 7:30 to get my babies. While inside getting my kids ready to go charles king there van driver hit my car. Nd there were kids on the bus. When i told him he hit my car his exact words was well duh thats the obvious. Ms. Harris a surred me he was gonna pay. But she turnt on me. They gave me progressive for insurrance and progressive said they wasnt insured sice june. Then they give me farmers info nd farmers say they do have a policy but no automotive. The owner has not contact me to resolve matter. So now im taking matters in my own hands. LAWSUIT
Great staff not lazy for all the behavior problems some of the children have that I have witnessed they are very professional, caring, and on top of all the children there. Very spacious and they keep the kids moving. The anonymous mother that posted obviously has a child that was attending here and is just trying to bad mouth the place considering she is the only individual parent who has commented. Get a life act like a grown up and not a teenager. You should be ashamed of yourself anonymous mother!
They don't teach your children anything! My child was there 2 years and learned very little. When you tour everything is setup to look nice & in order but it's complete chaos. They have low attendance so they are using their location as a holding tank. Older children get dropped off & then picked up by the school they attend. In the mornings, all children, all ages, are together, & once an older child wrote "BAD" in black marker on my child's hand. This went unnoticed all day, I saw the word still lightly written on my child's hand when we arrived home that afternoon. I brought it to the attention of my child's teacher who said he was aware of what child would have done that due to issues the child has had in the past at center; not Ebenezer student but a child that gets dropped off/bused to her school. Low attendance has forced the center to put 3-5yr olds together, not a very effective learning environment. Teachers spend time dealing w/ behavior issues with the younger children all while the older children suffer. Several times I've walked in my child's classroom and noticed children running around w/ sticks. I brought it to the attention of teachers and was told the sticks were from the "Camping area"! Why sticks?! Another time children were running around hitting each other w/ large, rubber dinosaurs while teachers ignored them. I asked the children to put those down and let them know they should not be used for hitting. AM teachers failed to provide nfo to me because as the childcare director, Ramona Perales, put it... I'm intimidating! I believe people in this profession should be able to communicate with all types of personalities/ethnicities,etc.. in order to provide parents w/infor that's needed! Bottom line. Ramona Perales said that I come into the center during pick up very quickly and then leave. I'm not sure what parent pick up children after work and sits sound to discuss where happy hour is going to be?I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CENTER TO ANYONE.
The number posted is wrong. It was the first center i worked at 1999 .for 5 years..The perkins and upchurch were wonderful......ms tee
Guarding your angels Are the best daycare They have 3 locations I like it all Their staff is very friendly and caring My son been their since he was 1 and my daughter is 8 months old She been going to 16 street location The daycare smells so Good every time you walked in I even see the teachers always sanitize the daycare I m glad that I chose this daycare for my kids
Very disappointed with the professional side of this business. The 16th St location has so many issues. This daycare is not a convenient daycare for those who seriously can not miss work and have no one in the family to watch your kids. Every day your afraid if your going to lose your job because this daycare has so many problems that causes them to have so many closed days. This building is not appropriate for a daycare. It has electrical and plumbing issues. It's a cement floor. Also not very sanitized.
I would recommend this daycare to anyone. Not sure who the person below me is but both of my children one 6 months and the other 2 years old have been going there since they were 3 months old. I even attend the center as a child as well(tell you how long she's been open). I have not had any complaints. The owner is a friend of the family. All of her staff are nice and welcoming. My son was at the infant and toddler center but was transferred to the old kid center due to him being to advance. My son just had his 2 year old check up today and the doctor was amazed at how much he know to just turned two last month. Ms. Thomas is excellent with make sure excels past what is expected of them at a young age. My children will not go anywhere else.
Wonderful place to send your kids when you are at work or for the summer. The place is clean and the staff is loving and wonderful! They also have a great cook!
I don't recommend this daycare. Check young star website for any violations. She pretends to be this sweet loving grandma. Will tell you that your kids remind you of her own. Send you off in the morning with encouraging words etc. But don't let that fool you. If your child is hard to handle she uses scare tactics to control that child. All her staff is sweet but most of the teachers have a mental disability. Which can be a problem at times. She brag about how long she has been on business and name drop of well known people in the city that brought there kids there. Trust me, she makes a difference in the kids. She will act like the sun rises and falls around certain kids based on the parents, but treat other kids just okay if she feel like the parents aren't that important. Please do your due diligence before placing your kids here. Everything that looks and sounds good is not always good for your child. She is also messy and talk about other parents business. Be careful!
My grandson has been taken care of by Kids 'n Care since he was a few months old. He is now almost 2 years old. The care he has received has been absolutely outstanding. Nasser and his wife are always in attendance supervising a very wonderful and caring staff. Meals are nutritious and there are a plethora of age-appropriate activities for the children. You can trust this program with your children of all ages.
