This was my first visit to Gayle's Custom Hair Design and I was very impressed. I walked in to ask about a particular hair style because I wanted a totally new look (from long straight hair to something short and easy to fix). Gayle was very helpful, informative, and honest about the hairstyles I was thinking about. She suggested a hairstyle that would look great based upon the shape of my face. She listened and responded to all my questions and concerns.She showed me the damage that I did to my hair by wearing ponytails everyday. She suggested a product to help repair the damage that I did and it is working great. She also showed me great tips for styling my new short hair. I have received a lot of compliments on my new hair style that she suggested and it is very easy to fix too. Her passion for her work is really revealed in her technique.I will definitely be returning to Gayle's Custom Hair Design and I highly recommend this salon.
Went in and son immediately sat for haircut. Two people came in after and went before me. I asked the lady to take my name off and she started with attitude. I told her to be quiet because I simply wanted to take my name off the list. She said, "Don't tell me to shut up." I said, "I didn't." She said, "Being quiet is the same thing." She then started talking crap in front of the customers. When my son finished his haircut, the lady who did his hair apologized for her manager's behavior. I could see her embarrassment.We will never return!
Lillian is the most amazing Stylist ever for hair. She can create from the unfathomable! If your looking to get your hair done, GO SEE HER!! If your looking for a pedicure, Hung is her name and absolute relaxation is her specialty. Cracked, callus heals? Not anymore after you let her work her magic!! This salon can do it all. Wax, manicure, massage, you name it! I will not go anywhere else.
They were rude from the start. They let three people that came in after us get a haircut before we left. They offered no explanation. They also rolled their eyes at customers behind their backs. They are very unprofessional.
Called to find out a price for foils . Told me 60$ for 7 foils then hung up the phone . Will find some where else to go . I wish I would have found this page sooner . I would not have called . Save your self the head ache . Super Rude customer service .
Horrible. Staff was totally rude. Bald man that works there is the worst. Talked to a male friend for 20+ minutes who he allowed to jump in front of us for a cut. He probably should save hitting on customers when one his not waiting.
The staff is rude! Not kid friendly and I will not be returning to this salon.
I'm not sure of the validity of the previous post, but I do know that they are very rude. I simply called up to infer prices. I wanted to know what the price range was. A man answered and was super rude. Raised his voice instantly when I asked him. I apologized because he acted offended that I ask price, and he then hung up on me. I won't be going here ever.
Best salon in town! Love the atmosphere ... all the stylist are awsome!
Thus is Mona. I can assure everyone this incident didn't happen. I am professional and have worked in the area for 30 years as a successful stylist. T this post came of an ex disgruntled employee who was let go for being intoxicated on the job. The manager she refers to has autism in her immediate family so she would not tolerate such behavior. SM has burned her bridges at every salon she has worked at.i on the other hand have worked at only 4 salons in 30 years. I did not become successful by being unfeeling and mean spirited. She should have done more research before using autism as her subject as this is not tolerated. Shame on her
