I purchased a drop in bed-liner from Rhino Lining here in Milledgeville on Jan 29, 2013. Well on Sunday as my son was driving back to school in SC, the liner detached itself from the truck and flew out of the truck. Thankfully, my son had not made it to the interstate and the vehicles behind him were able to avoid hitting the liner. The liner landed down one of those 10 ft embankments that lay along hwy 22 East. To my surprise, I called Rhino Lining here in Milledgeville Ga yesterday and was told that there would be nothing done in the way of replacing this liner or if this event even took place. I am still flabbergasted that these people would even think that I would make up a lie or story such as this one. Hunter up at Rhino Lining said that the manufacturer of the liner, Rugged Liner said that they would replace the liner if I were able to produce the liner that detached from my sons truck. I explained to him that the liner lay down a 10ft embankment off of hwy 22 East; and was told that if I had purchased something from Walmart and it was defective, I would be expected to bring the defective product back. I asked if they had a crane that I could borrow so that I could retrieve the liner and of course they did not. I find it simply amazing that these companies both had little regards that this situation could have been catastrophic for my son and for those people who were driving behind my son and having to suddenly face a bed liner detaching itself flying through the air. Since this event I am here to tell anyone who are considering a drop liner to not purchase it from Rhino Lining in Milledgeville Ga because it may just fly out of your truck and depending on if you can bring it back in to them, you will be screwed out of your money and bed liner!!!!
