Old Capitol Pet Care

I hate to see these other reviews. I had an emergency with one of my pets & previous vet would not see me because I had not used them in over a year. I'd be a new client & they weren't accepting any. Old Capital told me to bring my pet in without any questions. My dog was promptly seen. I was also charged for opened meds. They were opened in front of me, & I was shown how to treat my dog's wound & to give medication. The staff was very helpful & friendly. As far as it being mentioned unclean, unless you consider dirty paw prints on the floor & some pet hair from clients bringing in their pets, the place was very clean in the treatment rooms. Taking your pet to a vet is like taking your child to a physician only your furbaby can't tell the vet what hurts. You'd be just as upset if not more if the vet misdiagnosed. Old Capital does excellent work! Don't let a couple of reviews fool you!

I took my kitten there because she had something on her skin that turned out to be ringworm and they did all these unnecessary tests and then AFTER they did all the tests, they took one look and said "oh, its ringworm!" and then when i kept asking how much things were, they said they would find out for me but never did! Then when I get the bill, its WAY too much for how little they did. They were ok. But the place was gross! Didn't even want to put my kitten on the floor!

Steer clear check out other reviews on other web pages. They care more about the bottom line then they do your pets. Want a $300 dollar bill for them looking at your dog with allergies? It happened to me and it can happen to you. Be careful. I had to return most of the stuff and ended up with a bottle of pills and some ear cleaner that had already been opened by them. I still had to pay $150 and I could have done the same thing they did at home for 40 bucks with change to spare.
