Established in 1971, Y.O.U., also known as Youth Opportunities Upheld, is one of the leading child welfare and behavioral health care organizations in Massachusetts. It provides a variety of social, psychological, educational, vocational, and preventive and rehabilitative programs for more than 8,000 children, adolescents and families annually. The organization offers housing support, parenting education, independent living, residential treatments, skills development and child care support services. It additionally provides supervision, vocational training and outpatient counseling services. The organization also offers undergraduate and graduate internship programs for students. In addition, it provides a range of community-based programs and supports various schools and colleges. Headquartered in Worcester, Mass., Y.O.U. maintains one of its locations in Millbury, Mass.
