We were surprised to see the parking lot full so we anticipated fresh food. We walked into a dusty, dingy atmosphere. We were seated quickly in a restaurant that only had two other tables. I took my son to the buffet we each grabbed a plate. There were 5 food tables, 2 dessert tables, 1 hibachi grill, and a small sushi bar. The sushi bar only had 6 pieces of each type of roll which was never refilled. The containers on the steam tables were only half full and as usual a person was walking around monitoring amounts constantly stirring the half full containers. Not once did I see anyone come to fill the bars in the 35 minutes we were seated. Also our server sat three tables away from us and ate a plate of food while still taking care of us and her other 2 tables!? I only had one plate, my son had two and dessert, and my husband had three plates. We were very unimpressed. When I received my bill I about died. It was $33 and not worth a nickel!!! I told my husband that since I didn't eat much I was going to tell them it wasn't good and hopefully I wouldn't have to pay for mine. We packed up our children, tipped our server $5 and he went to the car while I was paying the bill. I approached the cashier and explained that it wasn't very good, cold, old and I would like mine taken off the bill. I was nice at first. When she didn't acknowledge my distress and said she could offer me a discount of only $3 I flipped my lid. I demanded to speak to the manager. She argued with me that the food was hot (she touched the table it was hot she said). I was livid demanded mine taken off or I would just walk out she went to get her owner/manager. He came out and I said I only had one plate and his response was one plate or ten plates you still have to pay. I work in food service and never once have I seen my managers argue with their patrons over a $10.75 meal. Apparently everyone in Milford has discovered how disgusting and worthless their restaurant has become. We will never be back.
Food is not to bad, not the best due to not being somewhat fresh. Food don't have much flavor at all. Last time we went the food wasn't cooked all the way so we said something to them about it, so the man looks at us & says I just ate off the buffet it's fine. Not interested in going back!
It Was Decent for Me, A Hit with my Kid :)The food wasn't as fresh as other buffets I've been to, and my 6-year-old had a definite problem with the lack of cheese on the macand-cheese lol but the 6 ice cream flavors, the sprinkles, and the koi and water turtles in the entry made up for it!
This place deserves zero starts. They didn't get my order right and when I called to complain they said that everything was in the bag. I know that it wasn't. Glad that I paid with a card so that I can cancel the payment. Never going to order from them again.

I normally love China house, good food, decent prices. I called today for a delivery, in which I was greeted with the worst customer service ever. "Hello" is how they answered the phone, I had to ask to verify it was China House. After placing my order, the lady told me it'd be an extra fifteen dollars for delivery, which is more than twice the price of the meal I was getting in the first place. Bad customer service, terrible price.
