I have been going to this restaurant for well over 20 years and everything about the food and service has only got better.
I love this place. After a visit to the Twig bookstore at the Pearl, we walked across the parking lot and ate at this tasty place. No heavy enchalada plates here. Its all mexican ""street food"" and its all delicious. Since we had never been here before we relied on our waitress to make suggesti…
2. Blanco Cafe
This is my favorite place for enchiladas!!! I usually love trying different things....I do! But these are soooo good I can't tear myself away from them! They also have some great chicharones if you like that(REALLY soft). Not my thing...but my mom does. Great prices.
12. El Milagrito
I love to eat here for breakfast. The chilaquiles plate is my favorite but everything I've eaten at El Milagrito for breakfast or lunch has a touch of love in every bite! They great you with a smile and the food comes out quick and delicious. I highly recommend checking them out.
Some may call this place a hole in the wall, but sometimes those are the best finds. Seating is a challenge as the place can only accomodate about 25 guests, but you can usually be seated after a short wait. I recommend the carne guisada or the fideo. Watch out for the hot sauce, a little goe…
This is a wonderful restauran! Their Huevos Ranchero's are awesome. You can't go to this place without trying their brisket tacos. It is hard to find a brisket that is flavored through and through and wonderful smoke flavor. They also sell the brisket by the pound so we are definitely going to …
We got the supreme nachos & they were the best I've had, great taste & the right amount on them. The beers were very large & very cold schooner. The HB steaks was also very delicious as well as the Chicken Fried Steak with lots of fries. Staff very friendly & helpful!!! It was our 1st visit but …
Mr. Martinez only makes homemade tamales and they are incredible. Not only that, he will make you whatever kind you like...I am especially enamored with his bean & jalapeno. I buy them and freeze them. They make an impressive hospitality gift!

Ordered food to go but to work order was wrong, called called them they took my name told me to return next day and would give me food the way I ordered it. Returned next and was not hounered!!!
Very good service and food
My husband and I are here yesterday morning and we loved it staff was great food was so good, went back the next day
Pretty good food, but very slow service. When we were ready to go although we were the only people in the restaurant it took the staff a good 10-15 minutes to figure out the bill and take our money.
El Rodeo provided me with excellent food and service! I had the steak and shrimp Parrillada (#32 on the menu)... Extremely delicious! It came on TWO plates; one had the steak and shrimp, and the other had beans, rice, guacamole, lettuce and tomatoes. The service was great too. They brought the menu and nacho chips, cheese and salsa (all still piping hot) and took my order within the first two minutes after I arrived. The food was served in less than 10 minutes. The waitress and manager came by my table about four times to ask how the food was and to check if I needed anything. El Rodeo will definitely be one of my regular stops.
I am Native New Mexican And this place hits the Spot!! Tastes just like our Food back home that I know and love. The service is Top notch Just like the food I Highly recommend The Enchiladas!! Thank you guys for bringing my Childhood food to Texas!!
The food is very fresh and delicious and they give large portions! They have the best Caldo/ chicken, squash soup/in town. We eat there or take out at least once a week. Great place!!
They brought me a chalupa with no refried beans and no cheese. Only dried chicken, some iceberg lettuce and a tablespoon of chopped tomatoes. It was uneatable.
We loved going to Lapuntada's. The owner was very polite and the food was delicious. Now new owners and new name. They are very rude and do not speak English. My wife refuses to go back. My son was there and had to wait an hour for his order and he said they were very rude to him. He also refuses to go back. My question is this, what happened to speaking English in America? What happened to being polite to your customers?
