I love this place. After a visit to the Twig bookstore at the Pearl, we walked across the parking lot and ate at this tasty place. No heavy enchalada plates here. Its all mexican ""street food"" and its all delicious. Since we had never been here before we relied on our waitress to make suggesti…
Each year my BFFs come here, drink spectacular margaritas on the patio, order the specials and celebrate our lives and loves in San Antonio. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
This is a wonderful restauran! Their Huevos Ranchero's are awesome. You can't go to this place without trying their brisket tacos. It is hard to find a brisket that is flavored through and through and wonderful smoke flavor. They also sell the brisket by the pound so we are definitely going to …

I love to eat here for breakfast. The chilaquiles plate is my favorite but everything I've eaten at El Milagrito for breakfast or lunch has a touch of love in every bite! They great you with a smile and the food comes out quick and delicious. I highly recommend checking them out.

Besides having great food and a fun atmosphere, this very unique restaurant on the outskirts of downtown has a real tree that goes through the restaurant. It must be over 75 years old. Friendly staff and at lunch you will probably run into a professional business person that you know.
The cheese enchiladas and rice were ok. The borracho beans tasted fine but were a little firm. The salsa and the corn tortillas were very good.Staff was friendly.Pricing was average. No free tortilla chips.
This little restaurant started about 20 yrs ago and like a fine wine it has gotten better with age. The friendly staff treats their customers like an old friend they will even greet you by your name after a few visits. The food is Great and the lunch specials are even better, like spicy chicke…
The staff is friendly and the food is ok at best. I hate that when I order a bean n cheese to go for my son he won't eat it and when I try eating it for it not to go to waste I understand why. The beans are dry scrapes off the pan with some cheese sprinkled on it. Tortillas always look burned. I…

If you are looking for authentic Puerto Rican food, this is not the restaurant for you!! I am Puerto Rican, raised in Chicago. Their Jibarito had roast pork on it, they would not make it with steak. Their accapurias were horrible and they charged $2.50 for one. In NY or Chicago one is $.75. Their prices are way too high! These are simple dishes they are serving. The rice had little flavor I could tell they didn't use sofrito an they used little sazon. The ropa vieja was average. The cooks are Mexican. Not to say Mexicans can't cook good PR'n food but generally we season food diferently. I wouldn't get asada tacos from a restaurant that is advertised as a Puerto Rican Restaurant, hopefully you get the point! Don't go there with high expectations, especially if you are familiar with PR'n cuisine.
Super nice, super good and extremely affordable. This place tons of parking, very well lit at night and is only about five minutes from the heavily congested Brooks City Base area. Well worth the extra five minutes. This place used to be the original Big Lou's pizza location. The owner Jaime Rios is a class act, he provided all meals for free to anyone who came by the restaurant on the Saturday before he opened for business. It was supposed to be an invitation only lunch and Jaime decided not to turn anyone away. WOW! Everyone who showed up was surprised with a free meal no matter what was ordered until the food ran out. Let's support Jaime and his generosity,
We went to the SATX location today for an early mother's day treat and we were amazed at our experience! Nothing disappointed. I can't believe how heavenly everything was. It wasn't the portion size, it was the TASTE DELIGHT!!!! The meal itself wasn't the only thing that pleased it was all of waitstaff/employees as well. Whatever they have done there should definitely be bottled and sold nationwide! OPEN more locations I want to brag about this place to my brothers and sisters and they all live out of town! ;-) I know our family will be going again.
I come here for breakfast tacos. They usually take like 10 mins in the drive thru which I dont mind because food is usually hot and fresh. But today they had me wait at least 30mins, I drove up to go inside just for the lady to tell me the card machine is broken but that my order has been ready. I just dont understand why no one would let me know instead of wasting my time. I really like their food but its not worth waiting that long just for 4 tacos.
The staff is friendly and the food is ok at best. I hate that when I order a bean n cheese to go for my son he won't eat it and when I try eating it for it not to go to waste I understand why. The beans are dry scrapes off the pan with some cheese sprinkled on it. Tortillas always look burned. I don't know if the place is clean but from the small tiny drive thru window it doesn't seem to be a clean kitchen.
This is THE very best Madre y Padre Mexican Food Restaurant of San Antonio. True, if you want good food and all the colorful pottery, birds squawking in your ears and a bunch of yankee gringas telling you how to order good food on the riverwalk, go there. But, if you want GREAT food at a nice price, come here. Tell Oscar Sr. and Mama Dora the Pickett s sent you!!
My family and I went to Casa Linda Mexican Restaurant today to pick up breakfast. The owner was there and greeted my husband with a hand shake. This is a cute little place. The food was so delicious and the price wasn't bad either. I would recommend this place. I cant wait to go back and try some lunch/dinner :-) They've made a regular customer out of us.
Best experience ever last night!Staff treats you like royalty!Expensive but well worth it and I will recommend it to everyone!Food was delicious and so were the drinks.Atmosphere was so romantic and relaxing. If you want to wine and dine your date bring them here.Thankful for the great customer service. We left happy customers.
