not good if you looking to get your moneys worth. 1. the service is to long if you only have a 30 min break. 2. the people on line can't speak proper English. I had to ask several times "what did you say". 3. the best part if my visit was the cashier being the only friendly personal I encountered. as for the man who I saw screaming at his employee I think was a total jerk. he embarrassed the poor young man than laughed about with other employees"NOT PROFESSIONAL"!!!!!!
I've heard about this place but never actually tried it before. I'm glad I finally did. I've always preferred Chinese over Thai or Indian, but I love spicy and my friend says it's one of her favorite restaurants. Amazing soup and appetizers, dishes are very decent in size and the waiter was very helpful at giving suggestions. I loved the Chicken Vinderloo and at my friends suggestion had the mixed grill. What a treat! Even the desserts were wonderful! I will be back.
BEST KOSHER RESTAURANT and now OPEN FOR LUNCH!!! I had the great news that Tevere Restaurant now opens for lunch. I went last week with three other mothers after a long meeting we had at out kids school. We had a great time! Been there many times for dinner but it was my first for lunch and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to go again pretty soon. The lunch menu was different from the dinner one and the quality of the food was excellent (as usual).
We tried Spice Cove for the first time a week ago when we joined friends for a birthday dinner. The restaurant is very cozy and comfortable and the staff very friendly. We just kept ordering food, dish after dish, everything was delicious! Coconut Samosa, Tikka Masala, and my favorite, the Chicken Vindaloo, it was all exceptionally good. Prices were very reasonable and we will be going back!
Friday nights are a Mediteranean dance festival. Live band, belly dancer, and everyone gets up to dance (or watch if so inclined). Some people are dressed up and some in jeans and a nice top. Very informal, friendly and fun. Sat. is Tango night. Get in early for the lesson and then practice the rest of the night. Both nights provide a lot more than just a meal out.
I went there last weekend with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time. I had grilled calamari and pork chop, best I ever had in the city!!! My girlfriend had caprese and baked papardelle, she loved it! Don't forget to ask for the hot onion bread and focaccia!I can't believe that I live in the neighborhood and i never been here before!!!
Small and cozy restaurant serving excellent sushi dishes, and a few cooked ones as well. Reasonable prices. Good selection of sakis and beers. Spicey tuna tartar with crunchy tempura flakes, white tuna sashimi. Maki rolls in all kinds of combinations, all expertly prepared. Staff is personable and very friendly.
The food and shakes are really good, and on a nice day it is really great to be in the park and eat BUT the snaking lines are just too long to wait for a burger.....
I felt like I was in cuba, friendly place, great people. The food was great, needed to put a little more food on the plate.
