I was blessed to find this salon first shot when I moved to Midland from Minneapolis. It's a pain to find someone that 'knows' your hair. The entire staff is so caring and wonderful besides doing great hair! Highly recommend anyone from this salon but my heart is with Missy.
Horrible and unprofessional. His truck and trailer were involved in an accident with my daughter and will not step up and get information to his insurance company. I can only imagine how he would treat your belongings. He doesn't care.
I have never been so grateful than to find Heavenly Cuts and Iliana!!! Back in 2008 I lost my favorite stylist that had been doing my hair since I was a child and I hunted EVERYWHERE for a stylist that I could just walk in and say "do what you think looks good" and Iliana NAILED IT!!! I am not picky about my hair and I don't want to hunt through a thousand different pictures to pick one and it not be a good fit for me. When my daughter became old enough to start coloring her hair, Iliana was always the best voice of reason and steered her away from pushing to go overboard and when my daughter insisted on going from very dark brown to bright red Iliana spent 6 hours working with her to get as close as possible without frying her hair off!!! We recently moved to Austin and my daughter has decided to go back to her natural blonde color and we went to a stylist today that did in fact fry her hair off so I am crying and wishing that Iliana could have moved with us!!!! We have a wonderful bond with her and still talk constantly and she is even helping us by giving us pointers on how to repair the damage done. I recommend her 100% to anybody!!!

I will never go back to Heavenly Cuts. I was a supportive customer for over a year but then I got the worst haircut of my life from Iliana. She was on her phone and talking with coworkers while doing my hair. She straighten my hair but never showed me the back (probably cause she knew what she did) she rushed me out. When I got home and saw my hair I was in complete shock I contacted Shelley (the owner) and she refused to give me a refund "because they provided a service" (some service) Shelley said if I come back in she will look at it and fix it. When i got there she was in such a rush to leave she didn't bother to do anything but cut my hair even shorter. It took me 2 years to get my hair from a bob cut to the middle of my back when I left my hair was at my shoulders. I will never go back and I advise EVERYONE to think twice.
I always receive plenty of good compliments after my hair is done here. My hair type is simply unmanageable at times, but Arlene takes it and makes is beautiful. Been going for about five years now and do not plan on switching hair stylists any time soon.

For both local and long-distance moving companies, AMSA is another good place to check out a company's legitimacy. Moving companies aren't required to be an AMSA member, but the ones that are have committed to the association's rules and regulations, which protect both the companies and the consumers hiring them. If a company isn't an AMSA member, that doesn't mean it isn't reputable, but an AMSA membership is a clear indication of legitimacy.

One type of tip to avoid: alcohol. It's usually illegal for movers to have bottles of alcohol in the truck or van, so tipping a bottle of wine or liquor could get them into trouble.
