This is the worst Babies R Us I've ever been to. It may have been great in 2008 but it's really gone downhill. The store is dated and there's not a good selection of any one product. The bathrooms are old and dingy with no proper place to change a baby. Weird for a baby store. The staff is most unhelpful and very rude. No one in the store ever knows what I'm talking about and they're always "out" of everything. Employees give you a hard time about coupons and would rather the store be empty all day so they didnt have to do anything. I dread coming to this location and only do when I recieve a gift card and don't want to pay online shopping.
I would recommend going elsewhere for baby items, like target.
I had never had a problem with this ToysRus until today. After calling the store AND checking online for a video game that was in stock, I immediately sent my husband to this store. Of course, the video game was not there. (It was still showing as In Stock at the store online, though). My husband asked if they had it and was told yes that they had some by the register or possibly in the back. The staff also scanned the barcode which indicated that there were some in stock. When when he went to get it my husband overheard him talking to another store employee who said the 4 games in the back were being held for someone. They continued to discuss this, one saying to the other that it is not their policy. My husband was then informed that they had none in stock. When my husband confronted the one employee about the discussion among the 2 staff, he denied there were any held. Of course, when asking to speak to a manager there was none. This is December, the height of the holiday season and conveiniently, no manager. My husband made a special trip, sick as a dog, in bad weather, after me verifying the in stock status on the phone and online(before and during the store visit) but wasted his time. I am so angry and feel that this location is poorly managed and staff are not trained well, at least in the video game area. It seems to us that the staff was lying to us about having 4 games held as they had indicated in their conversation with each other. It makes us wonder if they knew this customer that they are holding these 4 identical games for. If it is really their policy to not hold anything, we wish the rules would apply to everyone.
